"This place is a wonderful Old School Classic Chinese Restaurant complete with the wonderful 'Family Meal Combos '. I ate in it was busy which is always a good sign for a restaurant that is a little hidden out of the way. There was plenty of parking I didn 't wait for a table. The owner sat me I was served quickly. I ordered the LUNCH SPECIAL CURRY CHICKEN $6.75 which came with choice of Crabragoon (2) or Egg roll, Soup, Rice Entree.. I choose the Crab Ragoons, Egg Drop Soup Fried Rice to go with my Curry Chicken. They use REAL CRAB in their homemade Crab Ragoons the DIPPING SAUCE for them is beyond the classic Sweet Sour or Duck Sauce out of a can.. it 's obviously Homemade I think possibly Pineapple Based. The perfect thickness texture with just enough sweetness. It 's FABULOUS, BRIGHT Worth the trip just for that. The Egg Drop Soup was just what this classic should be..(no peas or carrots) and hot DELICIOUS. The fried rice was done classically and was good. The CURRY CHICKEN was just hot enough for my medium pallet without being too spicy. The portions were decent big enough I took half of it home. Great value. I also had Hot Tea which was good. To top it all off when I asked my server if I could please have a glass of WATER to go not only did she happily bring it to me she took the time to add a slice of fresh lemon. DETAILS!.. IT 'S ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS. I 'd give this place an extra star just for that. AWSOME EXPERIENCE! Thank you."

"Updated review:I 'm sad to update this as this restaurant used to be my favorite place to get Chinese food. They no longer have a wide menu anymore, as this is what I loved most about them. I 'm not sure what happened, but they closed for a week and reopened with this new menu. I haven 't found any other place that 's like what Jia used to be. Jia stood out and was afforable for how much they gave. They used to open at 11 am and had a lunch special. They used to have a dinner special starting at 3 PM. Both specials included egg drop soup, an egg roll, crab puff, and whatever main course you ordered with whatever rice you wanted. They also used to give out free platters after hitting a certain amount. I 'm unsure of why they changed, but I 'm hoping at some point they 're able to revert back. No other place is able to offer an all-around great tasting menu that was vast, affordable, and big porportioned. This restaurant is the best! We ordered yesterday. The lunch combos are delicious! We 've ordered 8 lunch specials for everyone home, and got a free platter for spending over $40. I ordered the orange chicken, and my husband had teriyaki chicken. Let me tell you.....both meals were to die for. The spring rolls are pure bliss and the wontons are amazing. The egg drop soup became my favorite; it 's very tasty and filling. The meats weren 't dry and the rice wasn 't oily at all. It 's all pure heaven : ' They gave out an awesome portion amount and weren 't greedy about it like some places (you get what you paid for . We 'll be ordering here again I 'm sure of it. Also, since a pandemic is occuring, the restaurant set up a pick up stand. It 's very convenient, and I 'm thankful they set that up too!"
