"I don 't usually leave negative reviews but when I do, my hope is the company will receive the feedback and do better.This is the first time I had ever been to sushi confidential at San Pedro and it might be my last due to the service here. I came here during my lunch break and at entry, it didn 't seem busy. Less than half of the tables were preoccupied for context. I was seated at the bar at 1:05pm and ordered my food 1:10pm. I ordered the bento box 3 items: CA roll, tempura sashimi. There was another person at the bar who ordered their food at around the same time as me. They got their food in less than 15 minutes of ordering. As they were finishing up their food, I realized it was weird that I hadn 't gotten mine yet. I asked the waiter about my food the first time at 1:30pm. He checked it on the monitor and didn 't say anything except we 're busy I didn 't think anything of it except when I looked around the restaurant and there were tables around me who were seated after me, had multiple people seated at their table and got their food before me. But yes...apparently they were busy.The second time I asked about my food was around 1:45pm. The person next to me literally paid their check tabled cleaned off at this point. I thought this was a gracious amount of time to ask. I was dismissed again yeah it 's busy and that he (the other waiter) was checking it for me I was honestly so ready to leave at this point. I can absolutely empathize by how busy it can get in the service industry. But what I did not appreciate was how dismissive they were each time I asked about my food and lacked accountability for what it seemed like they have dropped the ball on my order quite honestly. A simple I 'm so sorry your order isn 't here yet would have sufficed. But that wasn 't the case. I was served my food at 1:52pm (and yes I was checking my watch) and without any utensils. The waiter looked at me funny until he realized he forgot the utensils. The bento boxes as advertised on their menu was suppose to come with soup. Mine didn 't come with soup and I didn 't bother to ask about it because I was so OVER it at this point. I just wanted to eat and leave. Now to the food. I ordered the bento box 3 items: CA roll, salmon sashimi, and mixed tempura. It was incredibly mid for how much I paid how long I waited. Tempura was over battered. CA roll was standardSashimi was standard. But they also didn 't have to cook sashimi so......Salad was standard Soup? Nope didn 't get that! So can 't rate it. On top of that, the waiter asked if I wanted my check MIDWAY through my meal. You make me wait 45 minutes for a mostly RAW meal, are dismissive and defensive when I ask you about my meal update and you have the audacity to rush me? Yeah, no. I really wanted to like this place because I live in downtown and frequently visit San Pedro square. But I won 't be returning here. There are other sushi places in downtown and j town that not only has better food, mom pop owned but treats their customers with respect and hospitality. Do better."
