"As for the food—what a disappointment! The onion rings and French fries were extremely dry, a far cry from what I expect from The Varsity. Instead of the usual crispness, the rings were rubbery and the fries tasted stale and oily. The hot dog was passable, reflecting its typical fast-food quality, but the chili burger was completely inedible. It was overloaded with pickle slices, apparently meant to mask the taste and texture of the frozen "impossible burger."
The closed parking lot had no bearing on the poor quality and flavor of the food served to my husband and me. Sadly, this experience at The Varsity in Norcross, Gwinnett County, has guaranteed that I won’t be returning. Very disappointing!"
