"If you're ever in Manitou Springs, Colorado, be sure to visit Uncle Sam's Pancake House. We were welcomed immediately at the door with a genuine smile from the hostess, I wish I had caught her name. She showed us immediately to a table (BTW the tables were nicely spaced out so you DIDN'T feel like you were sitting in the next table's lap). We sat at the table for less than a minute before our waiter, Parker, greeted us with ice water and enthusiasm. When asked, Parker was ready with recommendations from the menu. I decided on the French toast with peach topping and it was out of this world! My teen son tried the biscuits and gravy which did not disappoint and over easy eggs (that were cooked perfectly). My husband quite enjoyed the country omelet and avocado toast. Another employee, Julianna, made sure our drinks were full and seemed to be a great support there. Food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. If I HAD to say anything negative, the coffee wasn't bad, but it also wasn't awesome. I wish I could bring this clean, delicious, establishment along with the friendly, attentive staff to my hometown so that I could be a regular there!"
