"If you're ever in Manitou Springs, Colorado, be sure to visit Uncle Sam's Pancake House. We were welcomed immediately at the door with a genuine smile from the hostess, I wish I had caught her name. She showed us immediately to a table (BTW the tables were nicely spaced out so you DIDN'T feel like you were sitting in the next table's lap). We sat at the table for less than a minute before our waiter, Parker, greeted us with ice water and enthusiasm. When asked, Parker was ready with recommendations from the menu. I decided on the French toast with peach topping and it was out of this world! My teen son tried the biscuits and gravy which did not disappoint and over easy eggs (that were cooked perfectly). My husband quite enjoyed the country omelet and avocado toast. Another employee, Julianna, made sure our drinks were full and seemed to be a great support there. Food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. If I HAD to say anything negative, the coffee wasn't bad, but it also wasn't awesome. I wish I could bring this clean, delicious, establishment along with the friendly, attentive staff to my hometown so that I could be a regular there!"

AWESOME place. Staff is super friendly and our waiter Parker happily answered all of our annoying tourist questions. Food is great. I can 't recommend this place highly enough. It is a definite must stop at place.

This place was so great that we had to eat here twice during our trip! It’s clear that locals enjoy coming here for breakfast and to socialize. The pancakes are light and fluffy, and all the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I also love the patriotic atmosphere!

I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was delicious. My wife decided to do something crazy and try the chili relleno and she was scraping her plate. She said it was one of the best she had ever tasted. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. This is a great place to start your morning. Would recommend. View menu

Very friendly people and a lot of hot coffee started our experience. The food was outstanding. I ordered a breakfast with small pancakes, which ended up to be about ten inches in diameter. I'm very glad I did not order the large pancakes. The price was reasonable. Most importantly, the service and the sincere kindness in the voices of the people that work here were fantastic.

I absolutely loved it! Some people might overlook this place, but the staff was incredible. The service was fast—we thought we’d have to wait for our food since there were two large tables ahead of us, but we received our meals in just 15 minutes. I highly recommend the stuffed French toast with your choice of toppings. You can dine indoors or outdoors. This spot is a must-visit in Manitou!
