"Upon arrival I was expecting a great experience based on other reviews but to say I was disappointed is a gigantic understatement. My family and I left this establishment before even ordering the food because it took a server over 20 minutes after we got sat down to even take our drink order. More than 15 minutes for just a glass of water, and it was not busy at all. A larger party the got sat down after us got their orders taken/fulfilled before us. We were served bread rolls which didn’t come out warm and did not look appetizing before our rude server even took our drink order, which by the way, they only serve wine and beer, no cocktails at all. We ended up leaving after being disrespected by the server’s bad attitude when she asked us rudely to revise the menu vs just explaining to us the menu as anyone would expect. She didn’t even give my partner the chance to order a drink AFTER the fact that we had already been waiting so long for anyone to even approach us. He asked her a question and she handed him the menu and said “read the bottom” and then as she walked away she said “I’ll give you some time” when we had already been waiting for so long. All he asked was a question about the small beer selection. When I walk into an establishment bearing in mind it’s going to cost $100+ per person, my expectations of how I’m treated are just as high as my expectations of the food. We felt so bad we didn’t even want to eat and left to avoid our entire night being ruined. All in all, I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I’m so upset at what happened that I will spread the word on how we were treated to everyone I know, which is an extensive amount of people who are local to the keys."
