"Sizzling Molcajete is incredible! The flavors are fantastic and the portion sizes are enormous! "Avoid this place. This place has gone way downhill. Using cheaper burrito wraps now with less filling barely any beans in the burritos (and beans are cheap! a few shreds of lettuce an about a tbsp honestly! of chopped tomato filled the burrito along with the tiniest cheapest shrimp from which i had an allergic reaction rash and I am NOT allergic to shrimp. The sour cream was not real, the salsa was salty and the chips were somewhat stale, overcooked, and greasy. Everyone at the table felt similarly and remarked that they skimped on the burritos w/less quality ingredients and everything was just.. meh. It 's fairly cheap but they are making money since they don 't use decent ingredients. Never Again!"

"One of the best tacos and quesadillas in the city! Very fresh and flavourful. And reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back. Only one feedback: please either add a bathroom or a sink for customers to wash hands after having a meal. Eating tacos with hands may get messy for some :)Vegetarian options: Nice to have more vegetarian options than at your typical taco place"

"Overall food was decent—service needed improvement. Drinks did not arrive until after our appetizers and entrees were served. We had even mentioned to the runner that we were still waiting for our drinks but she didn’t communicate that to anyone. Also had to ask for water refills twice."

"we went to dinner were sitting upstairs. the restaurant's interior is very beautiful, mexican and modern at the same time. but perhaps there was a little too much light for the evening meal time. and given the very nice decor of this Mexican restaurant, with this large screen tvs sport bar style everywhere was a downer. also no background music: . eating was good. the appetizers were delicious empanadas, thunfischtare, queen.) the most important dishes were delicious, only not too mexican, but: . but still tasty. overall it is a good place for meetings, very spacious; we will return."

"my friends and I went past this place and were hungry so we came in. service is great- everyone is really friendly. we started naturally with the guacamole. omg, it was delicious; it was fresh and spicy and with a small Cotija cheese, yum! I ordered a Carnitas-Cemita, my friends got fajitas and tacos. wow, the cemita was amazing, the carnitas were so tender!"

"I ordered for takeout at 7:50pm, and when I tried the food, the tamales didn 't taste fresh (almost like they had been frozen and then reheated in a microwave before being given to me) and had a weird color and texture on the bottom of them. We also got a second dinner combo, but 10 mins after receiving the food, the ground beef (which tasted wet, not greasy) and had soaked through the chalupa leaving it in a soggy falling apart mess. The side rice was also soggy and the chips tasted stale. I was very confused and spoke to the manager. He told me that they make the ground beef in the morning and let it sit on a steam tray like chipotle but Chipotle makes multiple batches throughout the day instead of serving meat that has been sitting there for at least 9 hours. The story with the tamales was the same that they make 4-5 in the morning and keep those in the steam tray, and I assume that is the case with the rice as well. The manager offered for me to bring the food back so they could look at it and see if anything was wrong, but what was wrong is I was served food that I was directly told had been made that morning and it was insisted that it was fresh. I don 't usually make complaints but I feel like they are bordering on the food becoming unsafe leaving it on a steam tray that long, all the while saying everything was made fresh. I was disappointed because it definetly wasn 't worth $33 plus tip and it doesn 't seem like an honest buisness practice."

"Update #3It's back! Now without hesitation when I want good Mexican food this is my spot.Update #2:Family decided to give it another try. This time the chips were on the verge of being stale, great salsa and the food was as I remember it being before the fire and restoration. Glad to see it coming together, hope the improvement continues. I will be back, hopefully they get the chip issue solved?Update: Stale chips but good salsa and stale taco shells but good shredded beef, left over half my food, I won't be back anytime soon after this, paid $80.00 for food I couldn't eat, was obviously old or had been sitting out most of the day. Took my wife for dinner, they sat us in the middle of the restaurant smack dab in the middle of 2 large parties. I should have insisted on a different table but we made do until it took way too long for the waiter to take our order and then to be served stale old chips. I thought it would end with the stale chips but then came the stale taco shells, there won't be a next time as there are many other good Mexican restaurants that serve quality food.Old review: One of my favorites, I am a regular here."
