"My family and I decided to try out a new restaurant today and came across this unique spot on Canal Street called Blue Bayou. As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by a beautiful atmosphere and five-star customer service. I asked our server for recommendations, and she immediately recommended the chargrilled oysters and alligator bites.
When the oysters arrived, I can confidently say they were the best I've had since moving to the city. Unlike other places where you might find bits of shell, these oysters were pristine. Clearly, they know what they're doing!
As for the food, it was incredible. The redfish was cooked to perfection, and everything on my plate was delicious. I also tried some of my friend's Mardi Gras pasta, which I will definitely order the next time we visit. My mom's po'boy looked mouthwatering; she didn't even want to share an oyster with me! My dad had the chicken pasta, and I tasted it— the chicken was seasoned perfectly.
I plan to come back with my partner to enjoy drinks at the bar, and I’ll be sure to give a review on that experience as well. Overall, this has been the best place I’ve visited so far!"
