"I gave the atmosphere a 5-star rating mainly because the dim lighting offers a lovely view of the water. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The oysters were undercooked, my Caesar salad tasted primarily of mayonnaise, and while the steak was cooked, it was burnt. Additionally, the green beans had a mix of soft and hard pieces. Our waitress, Marcha, did not provide the same level of service that the family at the next table received. Overall, I was not satisfied and I will not be returning."

The food is remarkable, whether you select items from the Edge menu or the full menu. The service is excellent from the moment you arrive until the conclusion of your meal.

We enjoyed a delightful three-course meal that featured a petite filet, complemented by wine and dessert. Our server, MC, offered excellent suggestions regarding the dishes, and the filet was cooked to perfection, with a lovely dark pink center. Excellent job! View menu

We went tonight for the first time. Let me tell you! This place is FANTASTIC! Our server Gracey was so knowledgeable. The food was FABULOUS!. We have been to the Silver Slipper for awhile and never tried Blue Bayou Bar Grill. We were missing out! I DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant!

It was a bit hectic being the last day of the month. It was explained that everyone that has outstanding comps were trying to come in and use them. We were too, so can't really complain. It was freezing cold, but they were very helpful with that issue.The food was delicious as always! Definitely try the tuna appetizer! The maitre' d was very accommodating and Marcia is anexcellent server!

Food was not what I expected. Gumbo had too much filè, crab dip with the brie cheese was a lil overwhelming with Brie taste, bread had some type of seasoning in it that was nasty, the Salad saved them. It was only thing that was awesome. Seafood platter with fried shrimp and oysters was alright. Shrimp too big for me to eat fried but Oysters were perfect. Staff was Awesomsauce. The waiter was friendly, but sadly, the food fell short of expectations. The pasta was bland, and the jambalaya tasted like it was taken from a pre-packaged meal. My friend's vegetables arrived cold. I have a suspicion that the bartender might have forgotten to include alcohol in my drink. I really wish I had read the reviews before going. On the bright side, there was a live band that sounded amazing.

After about four minutes, the waiter returned with a new order, but it’s impossible to cook a burger and fries in that time. Frustrated, we asked for a refund instead. We will never dine here again and will be warning everyone we know to avoid this place, along with sharing pictures of the food on the trash can. Additionally, we plan to report this incident to the corporate office. This is unacceptable.

"At that point, my wife decided to cancel her order. I asked to speak with the manager, who offered to remove her meal from the bill. I specifically inquired if my wife could wait for her sushi to be remade at no charge, and she confirmed that it would be possible. Eventually, the correct meal was brought out, but when the bill arrived, my wife’s meal was still included. I informed our server that the manager had assured us it would be removed. The manager returned to clarify that she only meant it would be taken off if my wife canceled her order. I shouldn't need her approval for that; if we were canceling it, of course I wouldn’t be paying for it! At that point, she agreed to discount my wife’s meal by 50%. I explained that this wasn’t what we had originally agreed upon, but she insisted that was the best she could do. I accepted but told her we wouldn’t be returning, to which she simply replied, "OK." When I reviewed the bill, I noticed that I was charged $18.95 for my entrée instead of the correct price of $15.95. I pointed this out to our server using the menu for reference, and she adjusted it back to the accurate amount. It’s astounding that they would try to charge us extra even after mistakenly applying a discount to my wife’s meal. I understand that mistakes can happen and that service may sometimes be slow, but I expect businesses to take accountability for their errors and, more importantly, to fulfill their promises and maintain honesty with customers. I will never return to Yamato, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone."
