"I ordered the shrimp and crab egg roll. The photos made it look like they were fat rolls but they were skinny, salty and I didn't taste any shrimp or crab. Just ground pork. The nuoc cham was a bit salty for my liking. What they lack, they did make up with the fresh lettuce, basil and mint. My mom ordered com tam bi cha thit nuong (broken rice, grilled pork, pork skin and egg cake). The grilled pork was thin, had flavor but needed to be grilled longer. As if it was done on a pan not grill and needed more char. The egg cake was borderline dry, flavor okay. But the bi (pork skin) was a flop. Most places gyp you by having 80% of the skin and 20% of the meat. This place was 100% skin! Notice that it's all white in the photo? That's unacceptable. They also charge for water. $1.50 per bottle. I saw one cook, 1 person doing everything else and a robot. So please be patient. They also charge automatic service fee for parties 6 or more. I personally would not dine here again because there are so many other places to try but I do admire and respect that they participate in California Restaurant Meals Program to allow those who are homeless, disabled, and/or 60+ to use EBT to have the opportunity to have a decent hot meal. So thank you for serving the community. Aside from the restaurant food, they also sell dry goods."
