"I ordered the shrimp and crab egg roll. The photos made it look like they were fat rolls but they were skinny, salty and I didn't taste any shrimp or crab. Just ground pork. The nuoc cham was a bit salty for my liking. What they lack, they did make up with the fresh lettuce, basil and mint. My mom ordered com tam bi cha thit nuong (broken rice, grilled pork, pork skin and egg cake). The grilled pork was thin, had flavor but needed to be grilled longer. As if it was done on a pan not grill and needed more char. The egg cake was borderline dry, flavor okay. But the bi (pork skin) was a flop. Most places gyp you by having 80% of the skin and 20% of the meat. This place was 100% skin! Notice that it's all white in the photo? That's unacceptable. They also charge for water. $1.50 per bottle. I saw one cook, 1 person doing everything else and a robot. So please be patient. They also charge automatic service fee for parties 6 or more. I personally would not dine here again because there are so many other places to try but I do admire and respect that they participate in California Restaurant Meals Program to allow those who are homeless, disabled, and/or 60+ to use EBT to have the opportunity to have a decent hot meal. So thank you for serving the community. Aside from the restaurant food, they also sell dry goods."

The food portion sizes are insufficient, and the quality of the food leaves much to be desired.

We ordered com tam and it was just average. There are definitely better options for com tam in the area.

Their food is surprisingly good, better than my expectation. Service is a little slow, but still good. Quiet ambiance, ideal for family gathering. Recommended.

Let me keep this brief: the food is excellent, the service is outstanding, there's no wait time, and the atmosphere is family-friendly—perfect for kids and families. Plus, you're supporting a family-owned business!

YOU'RE SERVED BY ROBOTS!!!! It's reminiscent of Japan. The robots with the cat faces deliver your food right to your table, and you can return your empty plates using the robots as well. It's a fascinating experience! However, the place does look somewhat worn down. The food is decent. View menu

When it comes to chao, I always pay attention to the quality of the nuoc mam, and unfortunately, I didn't find it satisfactory here. Overall, I'm not sure I would return. On a positive note, the atmosphere was calming, relaxed, and clean, though the restroom could have used some improvement in cleanliness.

My mom opted for com tam bi cha thit nuong (broken rice, grilled pork, pork skin, and egg cake). The grilled pork was thin and flavorful but could have benefitted from a longer grilling time; it tasted more like it was cooked on a pan rather than a grill, resulting in a lack of char. The egg cake was almost dry, and while the flavor was acceptable, the bi (pork skin) was quite disappointing. Many places skimp on the meat with an 80% skin to 20% meat ratio, but this restaurant had a full 100% skin! You can see just how white it is in the photo—completely unacceptable. Additionally, they charge $1.50 for a bottle of water. I noticed there was only one cook and one person handling all other ta...

"Another place that I don't remember ever going to. Am I losing my memory or does this app get confused. Somebody's confused. I give everybody a one star if I don't know anything about them or their service because I'm giving a review. I would like to try some of these places. I don't see the addresses on the app so I'm not sure where they are. If anybody's been there they could contact me and they could invite me to go with them and then they then I would know where it was. Ho ho ho. Anyhow I would seriously like to try some of these places and if they have to go I wouldn't even mind trying them not to go but if they have the delivery maybe even trying ordering something for delivery again I have to know where they are and how to contact them before I can do that. So maybe I'm just not up to snuff with this tech stuff and the AI stuff. I give everybody a one star if I haven't got a clue what they are like but they come up on my review. Yes I do have the other things to do than to sit right bees but right now I'm resting and it's kind of a rest thing to be doing it's kind of fun to be just I don't know thinking about it thinking about food sounds good to me right now I wouldn't mind having some of this kind of food if I just had somebody to deliver it to me I mean I can eat it but I mean to bring it to my house if I had somebody to bring it to my house I would definitely eat it. I was listening to an ad on not an ad YouTube special on foods that are good for leg circulation and all those foods sounded very good they were things like dark chocolate and cayenne pepper and green vegetables and fatty fish and ginger and I don't remember what else but those and walnuts walnuts at sounds very good to me if there's a place that has all those things I'd like to know about it because according to this YouTube video these things really help the blood flow. A friend of mine sent the clip to me and I wonder exactly why he was looking up this information. He sent it to me this morning so I just am very curious I want to call him and ask him how it was that he was thinking of me to send this to me. This has nothing to do with the evaluation of the restaurant. I feel like I'm doing I feel like I'm going crazy. Not really crazy just sort of inebriated. Probably do need to eat."

"I recently visited this Japanese restaurant twice, once on 04/21/2023 with my wife, and again on 05/05/2023 with my wife and some friends who are sushi and sashimi enthusiasts. The food was absolutely outstanding. The sashimi and sushi were exceptional, beyond my expectations. The rice bowl with fish roe was a bomb. The tempura was prepared in the traditional Japanese style with a thin, crunchy batter. However, the ice cream tempura was pretty standard. The oyster shot's flavor can vary depending on the season, but I found it pretty good. I would skip the oven-baked or fried fish next time, simply because I need more room in my stomach. The Cherry Blossom rice wine and Yuzu Beer were a bit on the sweet side, but still very enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant is not fancy, but it has an authentic feel that reminds me of Japanese restaurants in Japan. Most of the guests were families, and although it could get a bit noisy at times, it was still within an acceptable range. There were enough parking spaces available during my visit. The service was excellent, with all the waitresses being friendly, attentive, and quick. My wife and friends were 150% satisfied, and I am already planning to make some kind of occasion to dine at this restaurant again. On my next visit, I plan to order the following items: 1) Sashimi and sushi, including halibut, yellowtail toro, salmon toro, sweet shrimp, uni, giant scallop, and aji; 2) Rice bowl with fish roe; 3) Tempura; 4) Udon; and 5) Dassai 23 Junmai Daiginjo Sake, which I pre-ordered for my most recent visit on 05/05/2023. It was discounted from its usual $200 to $150. The discount may be an opening event or something ??? I will find out on my next visit."
