"I got here for the buffet a fair bit after the lunch rush today, so most of the pizzas weren't fresh out of the oven, which is perfectly fine, because it was really fricken good anyways! And that's saying something when your pizza is so incredibly good,it still tastes great even after a bit of time on the serving tray! Proof positive they make perfect pizzas! I will HAVE to comeback at a time that is during the lunch or dinner rush so I can try their pizza super duper fresh! They got a pretty wellstocked salad bar too, lots of options to choose from, and I love a big salad! They were still bringing out a couple hot pies asI ate, but I already made my plates of food anyways, and had a bit too much on my plates already, which is my own doing. I stillmade sure to try their cherry dessert calzone/stromboli thingy when it got brought out, that was DELICIOUS!!! The deserts lookand taste crazy good! I wish I had left room for more! I'll remember to next time. Gotta make a smaller salad and a little lesspizza, because I wanna try the other two options it looked like they had! Plus, they have themed specialty pizzas for eachmonth, which is pretty dang awesome! You gotta try ordering one of them at least one a month, everybody should get to try themall! I like CiCi's buffet just fine, it's like the Starbucks of pizza buffets: decent pizza, decent salad choices, actuallyreally good chicken soup and brownies, just a decent and streamlined quality. It's good, but there are better out there. AndDouble Dave's is infinitely better quality! "The food was good, but my order was messed up, and it was never resolved. I ordered cheese bread sticks and even had them repeat the order back to me to confirm. I waited for them to come out of the oven, but they never returned. Since the place was cleaning up, I went back to ask about my order, and they told me they had no record of it and could place a new order for me, which was quite rude. Additionally, the salad bar and drinks closed at 9:30, even though they close at 10. We arrived around 9 or just a few minutes before, but it felt like they were in a hurry to wrap things up. I was there with my family and was disappointed overall. Thumbs down from me."

"My family is from Pittsburgh, since I was a child I have had high expectations for Pizza. The stars aligned on the day I came into this specific Double Dave's, according to them they were short staffed- but whatever magic they put into what I ordered was something that truly reminded me of my family. I live nearly an hour's worth of traffic away from this location, but I am wholly considering coming back just to see if it's just as great as that day. It is sad to see that this location's review level is sitting below 4 stars because of poor curbside service. Times are changing, I hope this review will help."

"Okay so let's start bad too good , in my opinion it does kinda take awhile too get your food and it is kinda pricey depending on what you get but if your gonna complain about the prices just don't buy it ! But the best thing is their chili cheese fries. itsmy favorite thing to get their ! And the workers are super duper polite . It's close too my house and that's why i go their alot because it's the only close good food place near my home too walk too apart from albertos and little Ceasars, and when Ifeel down I can come here and get my favorite item and feel a bit better ! Recommend this place and thank you for whoever workstheir, your all awesome and hard workers keep up your good work ! I wanna work here when I'm older too"

"Great family run pizza store offering dine in, carry out, delivery and right now lunch buffet. Better ingredients and better product than cheap pizza places. You can really tell when its time to heat up leftovers. I suggest using an oven on low or 230 to reheat as the real cheese gets a nice melt and the crust stays very nice this way, plus you are not likely to overcook it at this low heat or get the dreaded microwave effect on pizza. Pepperoni Rolls and Cheese rolls are to die for. Parents and children will love them!"

"This place is definetly now my favorite pizza place. When Shicole Lewis is working, we always have an enjoyable experience. She greets us before we reach the counter, she is very polite, respectful, and always makes sure we are doing well. We have even dined in when the owner was on premises. Without asking he brought us some delicious pepperoni rolls to try while we waited. Which not to mention, there was really not much of a wait either. Out of the times we have been we have only had one bad experience so far. Which was this evening Oct 3, 2017. As we walked in, I felt as if the place was already closed. There was no one at the counter and the salad bar, which i would have liked to have, was already put up. I had to ask my husband to check the hours on the door. As we approached the counter we were never greeted, or asked how may I help you? Instead we just approached an awkward stare from the clerk named Melanie. As my husband, David Yanez began to order, the checker spoke to him with a sarcastic voice as if he didn 't know what he was ordering. When he asked her a question, she answered with 'What ' instead of excuse me or I 'm sorry can you repeat that etc. When I paid she gave me the credit card receipt to sign, I signed and handed back to her. She walked away from the counter without saying thank you or your order will be right out. We stood there confused as to what had just happened. My husband did say thank you to her wherever she had gone off to. When we got our order, we realized we didn 't order quite the way we wanted our pizza, due to us being caught off guard by the service we received. We did go ahead and order another pizza. Being that I have worked as management and in a restaurant, I will not let this one bad experience chase us off. The food is awesome and so is the rest of the staff that works there. Hopefully next time we dine in, we will get the wonderful service we have received with past visits. I do highly recommend Double Daves to others."

"Update2? It?s been a long time since these delivery issues and it?s only fair that I update the review. -1 a star for a pre-sauced wings that never come crispy : . Outside of that this is my favorite pizza spot in Austin still Update: I amdegrading my review, sadly, quite a bit (down 3 stars to two stars. The last four (Maybe 5? times I?ve ordered delivery it?staken well over an hour each time and then the food comes cold. I am literally 3 mins away but can?t get away sometimes to pickup. I kept giving them chances thinking it?s a fluke but it?s absolutely not. It just gets worse and worse and I?m just donedealing with it. The pizza is good but not good enough to deal with this. I would call them and give them a chance to make itright for the next time, never asking for a refund, until this last one where it was well over 1.5 hours. Remember, I paid thedelivery fee each time for them to give me cold and soggy food. Even when I ask them how much longer, the driver wouldn?t come.I?d call again, still didn?t show up in amount of quoted time. Killing that poor driver for what? How annoying. This store hassome serious issues FYI they buy their wings pre-sauced. They always come soggy. Previous Review: Great staff. Amazingpizza rolls. The lunch buffet is solid (7 days per week till 2p . They even offer to make other types of pizza at your requestduring the buffet. Great location. Definitely worth stopping in."

"I returned to this restaurant after several years away and was quite disappointed. It seems the pandemic has had a significant impact on the staff at DD. When we arrived, the place wasn’t busy, but nearly everything on the buffet was either empty or appeared to have been there for quite some time. During the hour we spent there, the pizza rolls—definitely the most popular item among diners—were only restocked once. Additionally, all the napkin holders were empty, and the bathroom was out of both soap and paper towels. On the positive side, the food that eventually did come out was delicious."

"I can't in good conscience give this place a full five stars, but that’s only because I want to reserve that rating for truly exceptional pizza spots. Dave's Pizza is consistently great and quite affordable. I actually appreciated the slightly messy dining room—it shows they're focused on churning out delicious pizza for the people of Pflugerville. Honestly, it's not the kind of place you think of for dining in, so that's really on me! Oh, and they had a genuine Ninja Turtles poster from my childhood; it brought back some comforting memories."

"Ordered a medium Meat Eaters pizza and two orders of 8 wings. Got home and here is a pic of the pizza. Where 's the meat? Yeah, we were hungry so we ate the mostly bread pizza anyway. I wondered if they skimped on toppings so they could load up on one theymight take home later. As for the wings, I didn 't get 16 wings. I got 16 wing parts. Four were the drumstick parts and twelvewere the wingette (mid-section) part. Maybe they save the better part of the wings for the same purpose as the pizza toppings.If I had opened the boxes prior to leaving I would have refused the order. The guy working the register also went back to helpwith the food. I did not see him wash his hands at the front sink. Double Dave 's was my favorite and we 've done lots of businessthere but they might have just lost me. I shouldn 't have tipped."
