"I was recently hired to photograph some O'Brien's dishes. I also had the opportunity to enjoy the Michigan salmon salad, shrimp cocktail, black salmon alfredo, fried green tomatoes and seafood dibloom. All dishes were so delicious. What turned out to me was the black salmon alfredo. I had many different salmon dishes, but this one simply brings comfort to the food. Coupled with a good white wine, I was in heaven! I go to many restaurants in the larger Detroit area. More than 200 last year! This place is a classic. I like the warm and fuzzy and nautical feeling of the restaurant. Maybe because I'm a boater and enjoy good seafood. The bar is top notch and clean and the owner Dan is a really nice, has a great sense of humor and is passionate about the dishes he serves. He goes to 31 years in business and has a real loyal episode. I'll be one of them. The staff is also very friendly. If you hadn't tried this place, I would recommend you. And I know you're back! I had recently returned and tasted more of the dishes and added new ones. This place should be on Triple D! I recommend O'Brien's Crabhouse. This place is a jewel!"
