"UPDATE: The owner contacted me after reading my review and personally apologized for the service we received. He said that they had extra business today due to the holiday (and other places being closed) and other employees called in and they weren't able to get the positions filled. The fact that he took the time to reply to me personally says a lot about how much he cares about customers. I only hope that his employees can fill in the gaps that they've left so that more customers don't have to go through the same thing.Let me first start by saying our waitress was great even though she forgot things. Why did she forget things? Because she was the only one running the dining room and the bar. We waited for more than 5 minutes at the front door to be seated before we were even noticed. There were about 3 un-bussed tables when we came in. We ordered food, the wife asked for water with lemon. She got water, no lemons. We asked again about the lemons. No lemons. Our food came. Kara had the calzone and I had the Hot Ham Swiss. Kara was given a knife only to eat with. Had to ask the very busy waitress for a knife and lemons. Finally got both. The Ham Swiss was very good as well as the home fries (chips). One couple waited for about 10 minutes at the door to be seated while we were there. By this time there were about 5 tables that needed to be bussed including the 3 from when we came in. All the while the waitress was trying to balance taking orders, seating people, cashing out and tending bar. Once we were done I walked up to the bar so I could catch this very busy lady to cash out myself. I made sure to leave her a good tip because I could tell this wasn't a problem with the waitress, it was A HUGE problem with the management. I'd like to say I'd recommend this place but I'd have to say, go eat somewhere else. And to the nice waitress, you deserve employee of the month and a raise."
