"Gong Cha is a great business to use if you ever want to have a DIY Boba Bar! I let Jimmy know the head count and he curated a menu for me with their most popular drinks and toppings. I tweaked it a bit after asking employees which flavors they liked and Jimmy was really responsive and transparent with pricing, including the $75 delivery fee. The delivery came in cardboard boxes with a bag/nozzles for the teas and the toppings came in plastic jars. They even provided an extra slotted serving spoon, some cute signs, and business cards that give 10% your order. Would definitely work with them in the future!"

"I hadn't had Gong Cha in such a long time, especially with so many new bubble tea places opening closer to me! However, while I was next door at Duc Huong, I decided to stop by and grab my favorite drink to see if it was still as good as I remembered—and it definitely was! I ordered their green tea with original sea cream and light ice, and it tasted just like I remembered. The tea had the perfect level of sweetness, and its flavor was distinct. The sea cream blended beautifully with it! As for the service, the cashier was incredibly helpful and friendly. I appreciated their honesty; I was torn between trying the crème brûlée cream and sticking with the original. They suggested that the original would pair better with the tea, and I’m glad I took their advice. I’ll definitely be coming back more often now!"

"There are numerous boba tea shops in Fremont, making it difficult to choose one to visit. My boyfriend recommended Gong Cha, a place he has frequented before. However, we experienced a long wait of over 30 minutes due to a large order placed ahead of us. The staff acknowledged our wait time by providing a free drink voucher for our next visit. It seemed that some of our drinks sat out too long, leading to dilution as the ice melted. Despite this, the boba at Gong Cha is typically chewy, although they have a tendency to clump together at times. Overall, the drinks offer a solid tea flavor with good boba texture."

"This is the first Boba place (out of many) where I ordered 25% ice and actually received 25% ice, so I give it credit for that. Otherwise, it's a fairly typical Gong Cha location. I enjoyed the Earl Grey milk tea, and the boba was cooked perfectly."

"The milk tea itself was okay. Matcha was kinda grainy but the boba was nice.There were multiple staff on their phones very plainly in view of the customers. If they did that in the back, no one would care but seeing them so clearly bored and no one batting an eye makes me not want to come back here.There were about 6 people working which would make sense for a Saturday evening but since most of them weren't even making the drinks and at the register, it seemed unnecessary. Clearly they weren't needed since they had plenty of time on their phones and sitting around looking bored to death."

"I visited Gong Cha to celebrate finishing some work and walked in with my friend, only to be immediately overwhelmed by all the choices. We asked Dre, the gentleman at the front, for help with his favorites. He recommended the London Fog, which is Earl Grey tea with brown sugar syrup, and quickly added my favorite jellies. He was incredibly fast, sweet, relaxed, and super friendly. While I loved the tea, it was really Dre who made me want to return. It just goes to show how much an employee can impact your experience. I have experimented with many different drinks at Gong Cha, but my go-to options are the oolong milk tea and the earl grey milk tea with 3J. The oolong milk tea is creamy and rich, striking a perfect balance between sweet and savory. The earl grey milk tea with 3J offers a more subtle taste, but it is still delicious. I also admire that Gong Cha brews their teas fresh every 4 hours! The staff at Gong Cha is always friendly and helpful, willing to answer any questions and provide recommendations."

"I came to this location today for the first time and ordered an iced brown sugar milk tea. There was hand sanitizer by the straws near the register and the cashier was helpful and patient with me fumbling around with my credit card. I asked for 25% ice but he put more than that. He asked if it was ok that he put more ice in before he sealed the cup and I said it was fine. Then while handing me the drink, he said he can make me another with less ice if I want. I thought that was pretty nice and unnecessary and declined his offer. The drink was delicious."
