"We visited Humphrey's for the first time last night, April 27th, 2024. Our server, Chip, provided excellent service and really stood out. His hospitality was the highlight of our experience and prevented this review from being a one-star rating. However, we were quite disappointed with the food. The calamari appetizer was lacking in calamari and the breading was fried too much, disappointing me right from the start. My partner ordered the 12oz lobster tail, which was overcooked and served on top of cold scalloped potatoes. Additionally, the truffle Mac that was supposed to come with the dish was late and also cold. My 14oz Prime rib was dry and tasteless, completely opposite of Chip's description. The only positive aspect of our visit were the well-made drinks. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for its food quality. Perhaps the lively music or alcoholic beverages distract from the lackluster food. Humphrey's is more of a 3-star establishment in our opinion."
