"Clio has permanently closed its doors. The cuisine was outstanding, earning numerous awards and recognition over the years. I experienced the nine-course tasting menu, and although each dish was delightful, I never felt overly full when I left. The presentations were as stunning as the flavors were impressive. One standout dish featured a custard with mushrooms and abalone perched on top. A smoky essence was introduced, not directly to the custard itself, but wafting through the air above it, thanks to a small pile of smoldering twigs hidden beneath an abalone shell. The aroma added a wonderful depth to the overall dining experience. The final service took place on December 30th."

Love this restaurant. I've been here several times and it never disappoints. Something of an Asian Fusion menu and nice ambiance.

clio is closed anyway but our experience was a disappointing one: it was praised by many, but did not reach the high standards... may be because it was closing in a week so there was no point to do the best View menu

even though all the dishes we tried were fantastic, the lobster collection, foie grass and crabs and lobster dumplings radiated the rest. the cocktail menu was much bigger and more creative than expected, and the drinks were delicious.

This is an impressive spot! The staff is very attentive, and the bartender crafts excellent drinks. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is vibrant. There's a steady flow of patrons coming in throughout the evening, adding to the lively vibe.

Clio has been our favorite restaurant in Boston for several years. Unfortunately, it has closed or, more accurately, transformed into something else. This decision was made by the owner, despite the restaurant's recent success. We will now wait for the new version and hope for the best. View menu

Clio has been our favorite restaurant in Boston for several years. Unfortunately, it is closing—though it’s actually transforming into something new. This change is the chef/owner's personal decision, despite the restaurant's recent success. We'll just have to wait and see what the new version brings and hope for the best.

Clio's has closed, but it left a lasting impression with its excellent food, which garnered numerous awards over the years. I had the ninth tasting menu, and although there were many delightful courses, I didn't feel overwhelmed when I finished. The presentation of each dish was as beautiful as it was delicious. One standout dish was a pumpkin creation paired with mushrooms and abalone floating above. It had a smoky flavor that wasn't directly on the food, but rather wafted over it from a small box of smoldering wood, covered by an abalone shell. The aroma added a wonderful dimension to the overall experience of the dish. The last service took place on December 30th.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
