"The food at this restaurant is consistently good and beautifully presented. We dined outside on a charming early summer evening and were impressed by the mussels (not as spicy as advertised, but still delicious) and the spinach salad with fried oysters - both dishes were excellent. The pork chop and duck entrees were cooked perfectly, and the chard with bacon accompanying the duck was a tasty surprise. The cherry compote was a bit overpowering. We tried the Bonarda red wine, which was typically aged in stainless steel and lacked the desired fruity taste, so we switched to a reliable Malbec. Our server in training did a great job, but her mentor was not very friendly, which was a letdown. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience."
