"Very disappointing experience. I have eaten at their Menlo Park location for many years. This was my first and last time at the San Carlos location. I ordered veggie fajitas. The veggies were NOT seasoned at all, and were not grilled, so they had no flavor. I’m not sure how they were cooked. They did not serve the typical sides you normally get with fajitas. NO crema or guacamole. Only gave me 4 taco sized tortillas and 3 small to go plastic containers with different salsas, which was not enough for an order of fajitas. I went to order more and they wanted to charge me for it. I decided not to pay more for items that should have been provided, especially since the meal was not good at all and was already expensive. We went there around 7:00PM to eat. They started to immediately clean up the cooking/kitchen area after we were served our food, which seemed too early. Vegetarian options: Not much to offer for vegetarians."

"SALSA'S TAQUERIA Restaurant When Chef Dines: It's a simple bar/eatery place where you order at a counter, but the food is served to your table. The service is amicable and courteous, and you can feel they want you there, and they care about your experience. The food, unfortunately, is uneven. We had tried many dishes. Last time we had four, and there's only one worth another try. 1. Flauta a la carte $2.75 One with beef or pork. Both were really dry. 2. Tacos $5.97 Three tacos: Pastor Carnitas Carne Deshebrada All three were tender but could use some more seasoning. The good thing is they all came hot. Which is a big plus, since often tacos get less than lukewarm, the moment they end up on a table. 3. Kids Taco $5.75 One Taco al Pastor with beans and rice. Taco was warm, not seasoned enough, beans and rice flavorless. 4. Chile Colorado Plate $11.95 The best dish on the table. The meat was juicy and tender, nicely seasoned. "a grace has shown this to me! I have tried about 6 different Taco shops around our opposite and so far none compare at this location. the tortillas are homemade. - Yeah, but if they need more? my children get speck and ei tacos and they are quite big. after 1 they become full. I tried the Al-American plate and I didn't complain. everything was served fresh and so authentic. ? my niece got the flotta plate and said the rice was phenomenal and the fleets were fried to perfection! I have two fools to rehearse. they have not indicated whether they were pork or bark, but I am positiw that they were pork and were so delicious! I will order a few dozen for the holiday! if they are in the mood for delicious breakfast tacos, then sunrise taquitos is where they must go!"

"So I and my partner were hungry and looking for a sushi place to eat before our GDG meeting at Google HQ. We found two places to get sushi near us, but both were closed, that's when we can get over Lulu's. We were hungry, so we just walked in because tacos are always good to eat when your hungry, man in man has blown away the food here. We came from the central valley there were a taco place or truck at every corner, but these tacos we are from this world. These were the hands down, the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had, can't wait to go back to the bay so we can go back and eat there!"

"Good breakfast options, the menu is full of others too for lunch/dinner. One of today's breakfast specials had a lot of bread. Coffee tasted burnt, no fixing that on the spot. I'm glad I got water too. Service was great."

"I was craving Mexican food for lunch and saw this place on Google, I came here last minute and extremely happy I did! We sat at an outside table and were served with chips and salsa immediately by the waitress that was very nice. I’m a huge salsa critic and the red sauce was amazing! It was fresh and a little hint of spice to it. They do not serve green salsa, I was bummed about it but the red salsa was so good I forgot about my addiction to green salsa. We ordered steak and shrimp quesadillas and a plate of 3 chicken enchiladas. It all was amazing and cooked perfectly. Very happy we stopped into this authentic Mexican restaurant! I will be back! Oh and the tres leches was ok, not the best I’ve had but the texture was good."

"I ordered the Chori Pollo, which is one of my favorite dishes to try at different restaurants. This place did not disappoint - they put their own twist on it and it turned out excellent. The dish had a good amount of chorizo and melted cheese queso over the chicken. The beans and rice on the side were also delicious. All the staff members were wearing masks and were very friendly and accommodating. Our server, Oscar, was fantastic. He made sure we had enough water and that our dining experience was smooth and efficient. Whenever I'm in Oxford with certain friends, we always end up coming to this restaurant. I plan on returning in the future. Overall, a great dining experience and I highly recommend it."

"A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I can't believe how amazing it is! The service is top-notch—so friendly and efficient. Both the quality and quantity of the food are impressive. "Elmyriachi is my go to when I am craving Mexican food in my neighborhood. This restaurant offers tacos, burritos, Chilaquiles, Chimichanga, and Chiles Poblanos all made with tofu as a vegan option. You may have to request no cheese. I have had the Thai Burrito a couple times minus the egg and it is pretty pleasantly spicy. It has onions, large chunks of bell pepper, broccoli, mung bean sprouts, rice, and my very favorite- peanut sauce. It is served all rolled up in a flour tortilla and big enough for two meals. Pair it with their crispy perfectly salted corn tortilla chips and it's so good! The staff is very accommodating with vegans."

"Love this place! Best TexMex in town. The flower tortillas are huge and the Carna Guisada is to die for. Update: I called in and placed an order for pick up and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes but within 5 minutes I received a call and for the first time in 20+ years was told to come and pay first before it was prepared. I asked if there was a way to make the purchase before arriving and was told no. I then asked if diners eating in the restaurant were being made to pay prior to eating but of course they said no. Go figure!"

"My family and I went to Fajita House tonight. Overall, I was pleased with our experience. We tried the 12 enchiladas special with a mix of beef and chicken. While my husband didn't go back for seconds on the beef enchiladas, my child asked for more. Personally, I really enjoyed the chicken enchiladas, rice, and charro beans. The only downside was the cheese dip, which was not authentic queso but instead a cheese sauce from a can mixed with water. Despite this, I would definitely come back to eat here again, although I do wish they had a better queso option available."
