Staff is great, atmosphere is great, but food is just not there. Enchiladas were barely full and when cut into them just 2-3 long strings of onions, a big cut tomato and a little chicken. The best tacos/mexican food in Oxford without a doubt. The drinks are also great and not overly expensive. The service is absolutely wonderful the staff is friendly and talks to people especially returning customers. El Burrito Loco may not be a 4 compared to all Mexican restaurants, but in Oxford, it is probably the best option. They offer affordable drink specials on margaritas all week long, making it a great place for a party. The food is tasty and better than Fiesta Charra. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. It's a fun spot to go with friends and perfect for group gatherings.

The carnitas I got here were fantastic but service was not so much. We didn't order alcohol with the meal and the server didn't like this and his whole attitude changed when we passed. We finished our meal, and the check was there in no time. As the server placed it on the table, I was planning on fried ice cream and my sister a drink but the server ignored me and walked away. He lost a good tip and more purchases from us and earned this review. The place wasn't even full and he was pushing us out the door. I didn't appreciate it.

I ordered the Chori Pollo, which is one of my favorite dishes to try at different restaurants. This place did not disappoint - they put their own twist on it and it turned out excellent. The dish had a good amount of chorizo and melted cheese queso over the chicken. The beans and rice on the side were also delicious. All the staff members were wearing masks and were very friendly and accommodating. Our server, Oscar, was fantastic. He made sure we had enough water and that our dining experience was smooth and efficient. Whenever I'm in Oxford with certain friends, we always end up coming to this restaurant.
