"Always an amazing time here! Every dish that comes out is always well-prepared, and they’re always adding to the menu—when we went this last time, they even had sushi!Dishes are marked for gluten-free which I appreciate, and they even have low-carb items! I was super excited about the shirataki noodles, but unfortunately they’re so popular they were already out of them (just means I’ll have to come back another day to try them! ?)Came with my husband, aunt and uncle and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. As tasty as dinner was, I think we had even more fun with dessert. I had the jasmine crème brûlée. I consider myself a crème brûlée connoisseur, and I was told this one is made in-house. The crust was perfectly done, and I thought the raspberry sauce beneath the dish was a nice, unexpected touch that lended a lovely tart-yet-sweet contrast to the creamy-but-light crème brûlée.My husband got the affogato; I stole a bite and we both agree it was absolutely delicious.Can’t wait to come back! "I ordered the Yakisoba, my husband chose the Tsukemono (mixed Japanese pickles), and my daughter was thrilled to discover Okonomiyaki on the menu! This is a Japanese-style pizza topped with thin slices of pork and veggies, and she's always wanted to try it but never thought she'd find it locally! Both she and I were delighted to see Onigiri (rice balls) on the menu as well, so we tried both the Fish and Plum varieties, and they did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, hot, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable too! I highly recommend this place, but keep in mind their hours are from 11 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM. I've heard that lunch can get really busy, so if you're planning to go around noon, be prepared for a crowd! We will definitely be returning soon!"

"This place blew my mind! I was just looking for a last minute sushi joint to take my friend for her birthday, and we tried to go to sugar fish but they were so busy. So we went here, and honestly I'm going to bring every friend and family member for their special event or treat. It's crazy that the place wasn't full and the parking was easy to find in the area. The fish was the freshest sushi I've had in LA, and the best quality (the owner/manager confirmed that they ship in their fish daily) like it wasn't cold or have any of the iciness or diluted flavor of being frozen at all. The different fish and nigiri in the omakase and other menu item had really good flavors. The shrimp tempura was super fresh (like right off the fryer and was almost too hot) and the shrimp was too...the crispiness and the batter had that bite and crunch you wish French fries would have. What's funny is that this was probably the only sushi joint I've been to in the states where they gave tempura dip and horseradish and green onion (which my friend had never had at any sushi joint and immediately got addicted to). The service though! The staff was so attentive and accommodating. The manager knew what to do when I mentioned it was my friend bday. The green matcha ice cream they gave was the best I've had (and I traveled to Tokyo and have frequently in little Tokyo in LA). There's a creaminess to it (not sure if Hokkaido milk) and the matcha was there but not overwhelming, they balanced each other out. I'm definitely coming back. I'm in Korea now and still thinking of the joint now. Wish I took more pictures..."
