Good scene for tasty Sushi. Visited on Fri I believe. The bill was good for what you get.

Good site for Sushi. Great spot for an appetite of any size. The service was very welcoming and observant. Prices were decent.

This restaurant is amazing for chirashi. Every ingredient in the bowl was incredibly fresh. I absolutely loved the uni (sea urchin)! It’s definitely a must-visit for me when I return to town.

Having lived in LA for many years, I can't believe I just discovered Murakami. With its minimalist design, reasonable prices, and exceptional sushi, it’s clear why Murakami has such a stellar reputation. One standout feature is their BYOB (build your own bowl) option for chirashi, which you don't often see in sushi restaurants. While their rolls are slightly pricier than other places (not by much), the quality justifies the cost. Their desserts may be simple, but they are absolutely delightful. I can’t believe it took me this long to find out about this gem, but I'm so glad I did!

If you take a look at the one-star reviews, you'll come across a complaint about an older woman at this establishment, likely in her fifties or sixties, who seems to be struggling with her temperament. Unfortunately, she does not represent the quality of service one would expect from the Japanese hospitality industry. I've visited Japan three times and have never encountered such rudeness from a server. If she works here, it might be time for her to consider retirement, as she comes across as untrained and tends to cater only to wealthy, white customers.
