"This place is truly no-frills, which is a perfect way to describe it. In a sea of chain restaurants across the country with their tacky decor, many people might walk into Chin Hills and underestimate the amazing food they’re about to experience. The owners are wonderful people, truly fantastic. I usually order the fried rice, which comes topped with a soft fried egg that lets its yolk ooze into the rice like yellow lava. Alongside that, they provide a container of what I can only call spicy soy sauce, which appears to be soy sauce infused with sliced chilies. I also really enjoy the ginger chicken and the La Phet Tho (I hope I’m spelling that correctly), a refreshing cold salad made with fermented or pickled tea leaves, nuts, and various other ingredients. I highly recommend stopping by and falling in love with the delightful home-cooked flavors of Burmese cuisine."
