"To celebrate the Lunar New Year, I decided to try 88 China Bistro since my usual Chinese takeout was closed, and I'm so glad I did! The Singapore noodles might just be the best I've ever tasted! The egg rolls were wonderfully flaky and crisp, while the sesame chicken was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly, and they even wished me a happy Year of the Tiger! I was also impressed by the safety measures they had implemented to protect everyone during the COVID-19 pandemic. Without a doubt, this will be my new go-to for Chinese takeout. I give it a 10/10!"

The food is decent, and I believe it has the potential to improve. The staff, however, are extremely friendly!

This is the only Chinese restaurant I’ll order from in Charlotte! I’ve never dined in, but I had a fantastic experience ordering through DoorDash.

Wow! The Chinese food here is actually GOOD! Lo Mein was not drowned in oil and the vegetables were fresh. Sweet and sour chicken was also good! Authentic Chinese food View menu

Just our popular Chinese place. Get it delivered regularly. It's always consistent. Chicken is always tender, not dry. It is not overly baked like many Chinese restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Sesame chicken, lo my, crab rats are perfect. Nothing too heavy to make you feel sluggish. Order shortly before closing time the owners were very friendly to take our order. This is my new way to find the Chinese food.

This family-owned neighborhood restaurant specializes in Chinese classics and is currently takeout only due to COVID. They serve the best General Tso's chicken in the city, along with delicious beef chow fun, pork fried dumplings, and a variety of sautéed Chinese vegetables. I order from here about once a week and am enjoying trying different items on the menu. The owners are hardworking, friendly, and always present at the restaurant.

The beef chow fun was amazing! It was rich in flavor and had that perfect wok hei that Uncle Roger always talks about. They even trimmed the tops and bottoms off the bean sprouts, so there’s no unwanted texture. It’s fantastic to find a family-run restaurant that serves such high-quality food. I believe they’re still doing takeout only because of staffing challenges due to COVID, but I can't wait to enjoy a meal there in person when they reopen!

"My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful night in South End and one of them had found this place online. So we stopped by for a drink. Wow! Gorgeous place! The interior design gave me the warm, welcoming feeling of being at The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville SC- upscale, but unpretentious, inviting, and fun. We were immediately welcomed by the bartenders who talked to us about their different beers and kombuchas. We ordered a couple of flights to sample as many as we could and sat down to play Jenga in one of their many seating areas. Our spot was 2 old leather couches flanking a gorgeous wooden coffee table. So relaxing and sociable. I’ve never been in a brew pub with so much greenery (ferns and other foliage adorn and drape from the rafters filling corners and crannies around the room), natural wood, and light! Another great feature was a floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet filled with really cool things. The beers were unique and fun to try. The vibe is worth the visit even if you don’t love beer. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and loved learning about and sampling the other beverages. They also have a great outdoor space for gathering where dogs are welcome. My sense is this place was designed for building community, which is something we all need more of. Turn off your cellphones and come here to meet people, pet dogs, and enjoy a great experience!"
