"I travel a lot and like to try ramen from different areas. Decided to take a look at this one since it wasn't too far from where I currently was. The building itself is very clean, and the workers seem like respectable people despite barely interacting with you outside of the minimum needed to complete an order. Which I don't mind personally, but others might since it's an important part of a good restaurant. I stopped by around 1pm, and it was surprisingly empty. I ordered the Miso Ramen, my personal favorite type of ramen at the moment. The toppings looked very neat and we're placed skillfully, so I tried them first. I immediately noticed that the toppings tasted sweeter then I'm used to. I liked this! I thought it complimented the taste of miso broth quite well actually. However, the concern arose when the noodles were also quite sweet. Because of this, the first few bites tasted really good, but the more I ate the less appealing the sweetness was. It was like trying to finish an extremely rich piece of chocolate. The ramen itself wasn't all too much sweeter then I'm used to, but it was just enough that it got tiring somewhat quickly. I do think there's a lot of potential in this place, and it's good enough I thought it deserved a tip, but some slight improvements could be made. The reason I'm not bumping it down to three stars is because how well the restaurant was kept, and I can't ignore the possibility that maybe it was just my ramen that ended up with this oddly sweet taste. TL;DR Miso Ramen was very sweet, but overall not a bad place. They won't interact with you much though, but at least the place was well kept."

"If the girl is serving you than this place is a solid 4 5 stars and it is fully worth the money. Though if you get up to the counter and its one of the guys standing there with a bowl ready to serve you.. RUN.. get in your car and head ten minutes down the road to Maui Poke where you always get fed and get your moneys worth. The guys at this place will typically give you about a $6 dry bowl of rice and edamame and charge you $15. The bowl i got there today was maybe the worst meal i ever had and this was undoubtedly the last time. Seriously, just watch and pay attention as they spoon out a full ladle of fish and then shake it or bang it against the side until there are only two or three pieces of fish with which theyll top your bowl with. I have never seen anything like it. No more!!UPDATE To the owner, I appreciate the time taken to respond and the offer to make it right but it's not even worth it to me. More often than not the bowls were smaller than one would expect for $15 and completely lacking fish.. and if theyre gonna give me 85% rice than at least cover and smother it in sauce so i dont have to fight to get it down. I found a place thats consistent with fresher ingredients and way bigger portions for the same if not a little cheaper. I will go there. The girl though as i said, is a star and the only one there who puts together a good bowl. Those guys and that spoon shake are something else. Having worked in food service for many years in the past, the one thing you dont do is give the appearance that the customer is getting less than their moneys worth.. get a smaller spoon and overfilling it will go over far far better than filling a spoon and then shaking it until its just about empty and then serving it. Seriously you should fire everyone except the girl and have her train every new hire and you will be off to a much better start."
