"One of my favorite spots in uptown. Large rowdy bar with food and lots of beer selections. It's been a tradition as of late to go every year to watch the Michigan-Michigan State game. "Cooter Brown's Tavern is a perfect dining stop...a must for any and every trip to New Orleans. It is better than anywhere we have eaten on our Memphis-Waco-New Orleans 30th anniversary vacation. We rode the near by St. Charles streetcar, just prior, to us absolutely enjoying the food and atmosphere at Cooter Brown's. 1) The Cooter burger was the best ever tasted. 2) The Iris Channel Special was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. It is like a perfectly cooked ribeye and prime rib sandwich. 3) the fried pickles were perfect... best in New Orleans for sure!... just as advertised. If Debbie knew her soap opera show was on one of the corner tvs... we would have stayed at least another hour... lol Be sure and stop by Cooter's and Enjoy!"

"I had the Single Ugly Cheeseburger and fries. Delicious burger and the fries were the best. Not sure where they get them but it’s like they are lightly battered and fried. So crunchy on the outside and the garlic mayo is yummy to dip them in.The only reason I gave a 4star on the atmosphere is because the floor was sticky and every step was loud from my shoes sticking to the floor. In addition, I tried not to sit under an air vent but it was still uncomfortably cold ."

"This was our first time dining at Black Sheep Burgers. We were impressed. The wait staff was excellent. Jeremy took our orders and made sure we had everything we wanted. Our food came out in a reasonable time and it was hot and delicious. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed in the restaurant. The burgers are big and scrumptious and the fries are smoked and you don't want to miss them. We will be back!"
