"If you like fish, Moe z Inn is the place to be for Friday dinner. All you can eat perch, pollock, and shrimp \n nYou'll need to get there early to avoid a wait. Service is polished and simply outstanding. These ladies are masters and great at what they do \n nAfter being seated our server arrived quickly and took our drink order. Drinks were in hand under 5 minutes \nOur server took our order when she came back with the drinks. I was debating between the all you can eat shrimp or pollock and she informed us we could mix and match between the 3 offerings. Ordered all three... shrimp, pollock and perch. Amazingly our food arrived 7 minutes after ordering and fish was all hot, crispy, and fresh. Came with choice of cottage cheese, apple sauce and something else (can't remember). Fries were not the best but we were there for the fish! Huge roll also included. Our server dropped by a couple of times to check on our progress and noticed we polished off the shrimp and offered to get us more. Back in a flash with a plate of golden brown hot battered shrimp and extra cocktail sauce \n nCan't compliment this establishment enough on their food, service and staff! Will be back every Friday in lent \n nPrices can't be beat also. $10.99 for the fish and $11.99 for the shrimp...ayce \n nVery active bar area, not a fancy place, but nicely appointed and clean. Plenty of parking either in street, across the street, or in a side lot \n nIf you don't like fish, they have a great selection on the menu and the portions are big and food is always good."

"To start, the salad was just a half-inch of iceberg lettuce, a wedge of tomato, and a piece of cucumber, all stacked flat on the plate. I understand that the pandemic has affected the wonderful salad bar, but we expected a bit more variety on our plates. The chicken noodle soup was decent, but then came the meat. It was a dense ball of meat, lacking any seasoning or flavor—no onions, parsley, paprika, or tomato paste, just an overwhelming taste of ground meat. The potatoes were real, but the insides were bland, tasting like nothing at all, not even salt. The vegetables were a frozen medley reminiscent of succotash, minus the lima beans that my mother used to make 40 years ago. We had asked for coleslaw instead of the succotash, but were mistakenly told we would receive both. The coleslaw, while better than the succotash, still had no flavor and tasted bland in comparison. I was hungry, so I managed to eat the meat and potatoes that had at least some flavor, but Mike could only manage the soup. We shared our disappointment with our server, who was sweet and very apologetic. She went to the kitchen to relay our feedback, and we appreciated that one meal was removed from our bill. We were too polite to mention the coleslaw issue and ended up paying before leaving. To be fair, they had "Help Wanted" signs on the door, and the food we’ve had here in the past was very good. So, perhaps the challenges from COVID and staffing shortages have impacted the quality of the meal. However, if they could find a way to restore the lamb dish to its former glory, it would make a significant difference."

"Talk about efficiency! This place has its system down and moves many people in a short time. To the food. My wife got the sausage biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy, I got the super omelet with bacon, ham and sausage, biscuit and houseries. We also shared a bowl. Finally we got coffee and orange juice. I tried a lot of sausages in my time. All from thick and goopy to watery with much too much flour. That, my friends, was one of the best sausages I had at the age of a dog. It was creamy and had a wealth of it without feeling hard. In addition, they cut your biscuit for you, in bite size squares so much easier to get this delicious Gravy Biscuit mix to your mouth laboriously. My omelet was great, and even with the amount of meat it was in it, it wasn't fat at all. The houseries were perfect; crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. We both agreed that the butter casting was also great, smooth and creamy. Bottomless coffees don't hurt either. Well, on my non-food comments I've never done before. I counted no less than 15 people coming while my wife and I ate and say good morning to several people, under first names as they ordered their breakfast. The same for those who go. It seemed to be an intergenerational business with generational customers. Everyone knew what I missed so much. I love it every minute and look forward to our next breakfast here."

"Let 's get to it. Eating at the Tackle Box is a LOT like a classic Clint Eastwood movie... The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly . 1st, the GOOD. The food is cooked to order, served hot and fresh, with decent portions, and depending on the days, there are mealspecials to be had. The seasonings are near spot-on and come with plenty of condiments. The atmosphere is classic country, withpool and video games, and a full sized bar. I ordered the Boar Burger with fries, my wife ordered the French Dip with fries, andmy son ordered the Fried Gator with fries (ALL pictured). We also ordered the Fried Mushrooms as the appetizer. Let 's not mincewords... the Boar was well cooked and HEAVY, and had a slight gamey flavor, which was expected. The Gator was seasoned perfectlyand slightly chewy...again, expected. The French Dip was packed with meat and veggies, and the meat was tender. 2nd, theBAD...waiting for the food. Again, since everything is cooked to order, we waited...and waited...and waited. Each order came outin 10 min increments, which is unheard of. So for our orders, it took 40 min total. Eating a meal as a family was almost ruined.3rd, the UGLY... the lack of enthusiasm by the order taker, the cook, and the server. Each looked like they could or should beANYWHERE but there, and the amount of flies in the establishment. It 's hard to eat when you 're constantly swatting flies bothoff your drink and meal. This place is 3 stars by food alone, but has a lot of room for improvement, especially in getting theorders out and customer service. Yes, I understand it 's a hole in the wall, but it should be BETTER. I may eat here again, butnot with the family."
