"Let 's get to it. Eating at the Tackle Box is a LOT like a classic Clint Eastwood movie... The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly . 1st, the GOOD. The food is cooked to order, served hot and fresh, with decent portions, and depending on the days, there are mealspecials to be had. The seasonings are near spot-on and come with plenty of condiments. The atmosphere is classic country, withpool and video games, and a full sized bar. I ordered the Boar Burger with fries, my wife ordered the French Dip with fries, andmy son ordered the Fried Gator with fries (ALL pictured). We also ordered the Fried Mushrooms as the appetizer. Let 's not mincewords... the Boar was well cooked and HEAVY, and had a slight gamey flavor, which was expected. The Gator was seasoned perfectlyand slightly chewy...again, expected. The French Dip was packed with meat and veggies, and the meat was tender. 2nd, theBAD...waiting for the food. Again, since everything is cooked to order, we waited...and waited...and waited. Each order came outin 10 min increments, which is unheard of. So for our orders, it took 40 min total. Eating a meal as a family was almost ruined.3rd, the UGLY... the lack of enthusiasm by the order taker, the cook, and the server. Each looked like they could or should beANYWHERE but there, and the amount of flies in the establishment. It 's hard to eat when you 're constantly swatting flies bothoff your drink and meal. This place is 3 stars by food alone, but has a lot of room for improvement, especially in getting theorders out and customer service. Yes, I understand it 's a hole in the wall, but it should be BETTER. I may eat here again, butnot with the family."

Awesome food. Monday burger special is best in town. 3 for 1, really good classic cheese burger . Fries and pizza are great too. The weekend music scene at The Box is the place to be for the top shelf acts of the Northern California region.

First time here. Monday was burger special night. Amazing burgers for a great price. Was both my friend and my first time here. Good food, good beer and good place for early evening dinner special. We are both already planning our next trip back.

I'm not complaining. One of the girls bartender gave the wrong ATM card back, other person along with my husband had to cancel their ATM and wait 10days for a new card. We there at 3:00 a.m., the spirit of the bartender concentrated on the recordings that the guys bought them. View menu

The restaurant has a visually appealing design, but lacks a very welcoming atmosphere. The prices for the food are above average and the cuisine is not traditional. However, it is a great spot for hosting events and offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages at different price points. The establishment is a strong supporter of the Chico and Local Community.

Went to the Ned Ledoux concert last night, and by far it was amazing. The bar itself is pretty damn cool looking. Beer was a great price, bartenders excellent, security great, by far an awesome concert and bar. What ever low stars were given for this place is not true. 10 stars for everything this bar is about. Beer, concert t shirts, hats, and 2 records was worth what we paid last night.

I had called a number of places and decided to go with the tackle-box, absolutely wonderful to work with. I had learned about them from a graduation party I went to where they served chicken and it was amazing. They returned my calls immediately the manin charge of catering adjusted the menu to fit our needs. The ribs beans and spaghetti are wonderful especially the ribs. Theydelivered the food on time , everything was ready to go. Large portions of food. The food is delivered in the warming containersalong with the warming candles and accessories to serve them you must return all of it to them. The food will stay hot forseveral hours but you must maintain the water beneath the serving tray.... View menu

"I recently dined at Celestino's NY Pizza with my girlfriend for dinner on May 28, 2023, and unfortunately, our experience with the spaghetti and meatballs left much to be desired. Both of us ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, and I must say I was quite disappointed with the dish. The presentation was underwhelming, as the meal was served in a disposable container. The lackluster appearance of the dish seemed to match the overall quality of the meal itself. The spaghetti with meatballs failed to meet my expectations. The flavors were mediocre, and the dish lacked the depth and richness that one would hope for in a classic Italian pasta. I found the meatballs to be bland, and the spaghetti itself was lacking the desired flavor. I do regret not ordering their renowned pizza, as it seems to be their specialty and what they are known for. Perhaps opting for their pizza would have resulted in a more satisfying meal. It is worth noting that the disappointment with the spaghetti does not necessarily reflect the quality of their pizza offerings, which may be worth exploring. The service at Celestino's NY Pizza was average. The staff was polite, but there was nothing particularly exceptional or memorable about the service experience. In conclusion, my dining experience at Celestino's NY Pizza left me wanting for more. The spaghetti with meatballs fell short in terms of flavor, texture, and presentation. I do regret not trying their pizza, as it is their reputed specialty. If you choose to dine at Celestino's NY Pizza, I would recommend exploring their pizza offerings rather than opting for their spaghetti."

"The food is five stars, and I'll probably eat again here. I have to order differently, because the cook and the waiting staff do not meet. I've eaten several times here. Every time there was a togo folder. The food here was excellent every time. I like the way they do their lemon chicken. Lemon Huhn may be my favorite Chinese dish. So I was excited to find a place that did it well and did it as I liked it. The last couple of times I asked for no onions in my chow, the vegetable dish or wherever it could be taken out. I also asked about him with the personal combos (I asked for no onions). There was never a problem, regardless of the fact that it was a duck or personal combo to get it without onions (I also don't like peas in fried rice, I don't like peas at all, they are just green ****). Today both the server and the boss refused to let onions from the chow and fried rice. They said they couldn't do it with the personal combo. I didn't want onions. To let them out something that would be easier unless they do not reorder every order. They have probably suggested the portions for the personal combo with the onions already in the mix, and then throw each order on the wok, and maybe they can't take off the onions. Or whatever. Find a way to get the onions out. Not everyone likes onions. Or some people could be allergic to them. I have a cheeseburger somewhere, and now I have to find a new Chinese restaurant."
