"Tldr: Don't plan on going following a Texas game We wanted to grab dinner and drinks for a couple of hours before a show of Lincoln Hall and I'd liked all of my visits of OGS in the past- seemed like a no-brainer. Our reservation was right around when the Texas game ended and it was pretty wild (perfectly fine, I'm a huge college football fan and totally get it). Service was pretty slow but we weren't rushing so all good. My primary issue was that once the game ended, the DJ started... at It was louder than any bar/club/concert I've ever been to, and my husband and I eventually gave up trying to talk since we couldn't yell any louder and there was no chance of hearing one another. We ate and watched another game in silence (not counting the raging nightclub music) and were told in the middle of our meal that we needed to cash out because our server wanted to go home. Also not an issue, as I've been in her shoes, but it was super pushy and I don't really enjoy being told what to do while being mid-bite. She ran my card and brought it back in the span of about seconds, which was definitely the most attention given to anything throughout our visit. Another server never came by to offer more drinks or check on the table, even though the initial server said there would be someone available, so we gave up waiting and went to the bar. Should have done that from the very beginning because the experience was infinitely better once we moved."

"I REALLY hate writing this review, but, hopefully it gets the attention of the owners of Lucy's so some changes can be made. I first walked in to Lucy's Congress ave location in 2012, and. Was completely blown away by the food. The chicken was moist, flavorful and perfectly fried. The sides were equally impressive in their flavors. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. Today, i stopped in to the Burnet Rd location for lunch. I order the chicken basket and a side of Mac and Cheese. When my food arrived, the first thing i joticed was that my chicken looked burned. Then, i took a bite of the mac and cheese. The macaroni was WAY undercooked and chewy, and it had no flavor. i Tried seasoning with sal and pepper, but still found it to be inedible, so i sent it back. Moving on to the chicken, it was dry, slightly burned, and tasted like it had been fried in very dirty oil. Lucy's, i am seriously disappointed. I can not tell you how many times i have bragged on you and your food, but now, I'd rather go to Popeye's. Id love to give the benefit of the doubt and just believe it was an off day, but, unfortunately, i've already given that benefit of the doubt to you a couplemof times before today. Now, I just have to accept that you aren't paying attention to your quality the way you used to. Had the mac and cheese not been removed from the bill, i would have paid $25 for this meal(that includes one beer). Definitely not worth the price whenn consider that i have had better fried chicken at the Stripes gas station in Blanco."
