"The pizza was delicious, you can watch them wood fire it, and it tastes so fresh. The sauce was fresh and not overwhelming, the dough was light and had a great flavor. I do wish there had been a bit more sauce, but I'm sure if you ask they can add more. We ordered the house salad on the side, they were out of cucumbers so we subbed hot Italian peppers instead which, in my opinion, was even better. I couldve eaten this whole salad by myself, it was that good. I would definitely recommend. We didn't have anything alcoholic to drink, but I saw they had a selection of local beer and cider. That was a nice touch, as that area has so many breweries. I give three stars not because the food was bad, but the service was slow and inattentive, and just kind of cold. I felt that the person taking our order was truly disinterested and would rather have not been there. We ordered sodas and weren't told we had to get them ourselves from the fridge or that there was even a fridge to get them from. It wasn't until waiting 15 or so minutes at the table that we finally asked and she told us we had to get them out of fridge ourselves and she didn't tell us there was water available with cups to help ourselves to as well. The interior has a cute window area with fresh zinnias, and an oil lamp, very quaint. But the rest is a bit of a cluttered mess. Pizza boxes and cleaning supplies were stacked in full view of the seating area. I'm confident the place was clean but it doesn't give that impression upon first walking in. I was hesitant. The bathroom was fine and clean, but right in the middle of the indoor eating area. There is bar seating and booth seating inside, and outside there is booth and bar seating as well, I preferred the outside because inside they had music so loud conversation was hard and it was distracting. The parking situation is easy, there's plenty of street parking in Sylva. Overall I liked the food, it was very good, but the service and interior left something to be desired."
