"When we first walked in, there was a strange smell (kind of like feet) that almost made us turn around and leave. However, we decided to stay, and it turned out to be a great choice. This place likely serves the best donkatsu in America. It was thin and crispy, without any odd chewiness. You could tell that it was made and cooked with care. We also tried the galbi-tang, which was incredibly comforting, especially on a winter day. While there weren’t many side dishes, each one was quite tasty. I would definitely consider coming back for takeout in case that smell is a constant issue."
