"We were visiting from out of town and were eager to try a restaurant/pub that reminded us of the English and Irish pubs back home, where well-behaved kids were always welcome. Unfortunately, we found out that this place has restrictions after 6 PM. We were quite abruptly turned away and informed about a sign that we clearly overlooked. When we finally spotted it, it was tucked away to the side of the door and not very noticeable. While I understand that establishments have their rules, it was disappointing that the hostess was rather snarky about it. We were really looking forward to trying this place, especially since we were willing to spend money on drinks. We have two older kids and typically wouldn’t bring them to a bar, but this venue was marketed as a restaurant/pub, so we didn't expect any issues. It's a shame that we won't be returning."
