Kennedy's Public House

I’ve only visited this place about eight times in the last five years, as I don’t often go to bars. However, each time I do come here, I have a fantastic experience. The food is genuinely delicious.

It was by accident that we stopped by Kennedy 's on a Saturday afternoon. What we found was a very friendly staff and clientele that was welcoming. They are very reasonably priced as compares to some of the tourist locations. If you wish to spend an afternoon watching sports they have numerous televisions tuned to most of the games being played. Don't eat there! Im not a picky eater at all and the food was really bad! It looked like it had been the kind of food one gets out of the frozen section at the grocery store! Bad guacamole and the Caso was just crappy processed cheese!. The place smelled like old used cooking oil! I rarely give negative reviews either! We were hoping to have a watering hole close to the house we could go to, well.... this ain't it!

Went to a new bar in the area and could not get service. Left and went to Kennedy's since it has been around for a while. Immediately was served and they have a good selection of craft beer on tap. At the end of our visit, the Manager stopped by our table to check on us. Service makes a big difference when you have choices and Kennedy's is a great bar for drinks and hanging out. Music was not too loud for conversation and they have a loyal following. Great go to place!

This is an absolutely wonderful neighborhood bar. We used to pop in for a drink on our way to the grocery store. One Saturday, we ended up joining a lively group of NDSU Bison fans, and from then on, we came back every NDSU game day to enjoy the games with this fantastic group of people for years! They are truly amazing. It became one of our all-time favorite spots. We even brought the kids (now adults) when they visited. We moved away a year ago, and Kennedy's is one of the places we miss the most here in Texas! P.S. Don't miss out on the tots. They are absolutely irresistible!

We were visiting from out of town and were eager to try a restaurant/pub that reminded us of the English and Irish pubs back home, where well-behaved kids were always welcome. Unfortunately, we found out that this place has restrictions after 6 PM. We were quite abruptly turned away and informed about a sign that we clearly overlooked. When we finally spotted it, it was tucked away to the side of the door and not very noticeable. Kennedy's used to be a great place to go and get good service, good pub food and great beer. They still have the great beer, but the customer service is dismal and the food, if you can get it, has gone down hill. We tried it twice over a month in late 2017. The first time was a Saturday night. It was not very crowded, but we could not get someone to take our drink order and we were sitting at the bar. The bartender was too busy flirting with some men at the other end of the bar. We ended up leaving after over 20 minutes of trying to order a drink.
