"I've heard about this spot for the longest time and finally got a chance to try it. I brought my mom here for her birthday and was really hoping the food was as good as all of the reviews. This restaurant lives up to the hype. The food was reminiscent of the meals I had growing up on Johns Island. Authentic Charleston cuisine at its finest. I will definitely be back for more."

"This is by far THE MOST unprofessional establishment I've ever seen in my life! I was working in the area and walked up to the building because it states that it's open. The door was locked. As I walked off, the girl working unlocks the door and asks me what I wanted. I can't see a menu so I just ordered based off a picture on the glass. The girl this takes my cash, makes the order and brings my order and change out in the bag. I literally had to sit outside in the heat and eat my meal because there's only 1 person working and her child is with her in the restaurant. This was the worst dining/lunch experience since I've been in Texas!!!!"
