"If you want sublime traditional quality sushi, this restaurant is for you! Let me tell you a little bit about this lovely hole in the wall. Not only is the staff so friendly and understanding, the head sushi chef, who has had experience for many decades, is a true master at work. He hand picks A+ sushi quality fish from the fish market everyday: fish mostly from Japan, but also from other parts of the world such as Alaska and New Zealand. PLEASE NOTE This is not the place to order a spicy tuna hand roll, California roll, or any non traditional sushi items. Sushi Sushi offers many extraordinary specials. May I say, I would highly recommend an omakase to the average human being. For those curious, omakase is where the sushi chef hand selects prime A+ sushi without you knowing what you are going to get. The sushi chef will take care all of your allergies and preferences and make sure you are served with excellent care and given what you expect. Truthfully, I expected way less than what I received! The quality was stupendous, and I so enjoyed the sushi chef telling me where the fish I was eating came from. For example, I had many different pieces of Tunas and Salmons, all from different parts of the world! I left believing and knowing that my experience at Sushi Sushi was the best sushi I've ever devoured in my lifetime! Now more than ever, PLEASE support small mom and pop businesses like Suhsi Sushi during these difficult times!"

"My family of five entered the door and no kne greeted us. We stood to the side to wait for instructions on whether to seat ourselves or to be seated. A gentleman from below the bar then said “sit wherever you want”. We immediately sat j a booth that would accommodate all of us and began looking over the menu. We each selected our entrees and waited for a waiter. No one ever came. We didn’t even get the courtesy of a head nod or a quick visit to the table from someone to tell us they would be with us shortly. After a while we got up and left to go to another restaurant. Not one word from staff was even said to us except the initial sit where you want. It is clear that high quality customer service for everyone is not a priority here. Update: my family returned to give the restaurant a second chance. The owner was present and greeted us at the door before knowing that I was the one who previously wrote the critical review. She was extremely welcoming and friendly. She apologized again for our first experience. We were seated and received our free appetizer which was DELICIOUS (samosa’s). The food took a while to come so wait time was a tad long, but all came totally he gave at the same time. Portion sizes were adequate and a good amount for the price. Tofu isn’t Pas Se Ew wasn’t fried crispy and could have used a little more flavor but overall the meal was tasty and we left satisfied. Thank you for a pleasant experience."
