"Sid Gold’s is one of New York’s ‘hidden gems’ that has to be experienced to be believed.Only in New York can you slip through a curtain behind a bar to find a lively room filled with people hanging out at tables and singing along with the punters on the mike accompanied by one of the many Piano virtuosos at Sid’s.I have been going to Sid’s regularly for several years now and always feel the love when I grab the mike to belt out a song or two.Great place to come alone, with a friend or family.Only note is that they don’t serve food, so best to grab a bite before going and also I recommend making a reservation, even on the day as it can get booked out.Hope to see you there one evening."
