"I 've been to many seafood restaurants and I can honestly say my visit to Mambo in McAllen two weeks ago and Houston yesterday were delicious. Some of the freshest seafood I 've had anywhere. Delicious. Fried was light crust and crispy. Grilled was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The empanadas were amazing, crispy and filled with fresh shrimp and white cheese gooey flavor. The Mambo Combo was huge generous portion without the exorbitant prices at 'fancy ' seafood joints and more delicious. Highly recommended and staff was friendly and helpful. So excited Katy is getting a Mambo 's soon. Don 't change a thing! Perfection."
