"Review: Texas Roadhouse – Okemos, Michigan When you walk into Texas Roadhouse, the first thing you notice is the warm, buttery scent of heaven otherwise known as their rolls. I’m pretty sure those rolls are baked with a pinch of magic and a gallon of melted butter. They’re so addictive that I started calculating how many baskets I could eat before my server started judging me. My lovely wife tried taking one. She nearly got stabbed. Pro tip: They don’t judge. They just keep bringing them. Now, onto the NY strip steak. I ordered mine smothered in onions and mushrooms because, frankly, why wouldn’t you? When that steak arrived, sizzling on the plate like it just had a standing ovation from the grill, I knew I was in for something special. The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned so perfectly it made me question if I’d ever truly eaten steak before. The onions and mushrooms? Let’s just say they weren’t a topping—they were a love language. The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the peanut shells on the floor gave me that rugged “cowboy meets carb-lover” vibe. By the time I left, I was so full I considered rolling myself out the door, much like the rolls that started this whole delicious ordeal. 10/10 would recommend. But be warned: you’ll dream about those rolls for days."
