"Adolph 's is one of the Illinois side reppin gems that has lasted the taste of time in East Moline. Or as my homies like to call it, E Mo! Too bad there isn 't a way to do the finger signs in this review... Anyway the food is always spot on. Tacos, Tostadas, you name it. They have the right flavor for when you want to have that specific appetite for some kickin Mexican American flare. They aren 't heavily Mexican Authentic. However they are authentic to themselves and the people they serve. If you haven 't, try the beans and rice. They are awesome and never disappoint. The flavor is spot on! Did I mention they have a drive thru? What? That 's right. You heard me. You don 't even have to get out of your car! Check em out. It 's well worth it!"

"I made sure to eat here on three separate occasions before leaving this review to ensure my experience wasn’t an outlier or luck of the draw. I love El Chino. Each of my visits have been excellent. I have ordered a variety of items, including different types of enchiladas and tacos. The food has been consistently delicious and fresh. I cleaned my entire plate every time. Keep in mind that I visited El Chino for lunch, so I cannot speak to the service later in the evening, but I was happy to be seated and served very quickly on all three visits. The prices are fair and reasonable. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. There are booths and tables to sit at. This isn’t the most fancy restaurant you will ever visit, but you can expect a tasty meal and friendly service. The food arrived to my table hot and well cooked. Pretty good chips and salsa. Full Bar available, beer served in pint glasses. I will be returning to El Chino regularly. The front parking lot is small but you can access more parking in the back."

"For starters, the salsa is so far the best I've tasted in the metro. The chips came out nice and warm and tasted fresh. The drinks are a nice size. I ordered chicken street tacos and they did not disappoint. I had black beans and rice with it and they were also very tasty. The only strange thing I noticed about the place is the booths looked like they used to be at la fuene. I found it comical. One interesting item is the ability to get a gallon of margarita for $55. I will absolutely be going back."

"OMG! what a delightful experience.. Been living in the dark for 40 years and not trying this great authentic Mexican restaurant. The service is top notch with many smiles on a cloudy day when I went there for lunch. The food came out hot and fresh. I tried the fish tacos, rice and beans. My wife had the Enchiladas and Taco combo plate again fresh and both dishes served with a piping hot plate.. That is the way Mexican food should be served!! I came there hungry so I also ordered the shredded Chicken soup and it is a very healthy portion with all the fresh veggies and of course leftovers to take home LOL.. After having this nice scrumptious meal. My wife and I met Julia and her mother Serria who started this business for 39 years. What a beautiful family!! Take a look at the family portraits on the back wall 9 in the family and you will see a very close family with the father who started the business.. Don't hesitate and try this restaurant when you get some time and you will be pleasantly surprised. Nice views of the Diablo mountains.. Plenty of seating either inside or outside take your pick.
