"What was once a neighborhood staple has now become a stale joke. I've been pushing my review of this place off because I remember how great this place was and how fresh everything tasted. I wanted to give it a few tries before a did an officialreview to make sure I was not experiencing a one off moment. Today I ordered the Gyro Special plate which is now $2 moreexpensive than it used to be a few years ago. I could justify this price increase if the quality remained the same but I've beenhere maybe 5 or 6 times over the last 6 months and what's clear is that the quality has gone done. The star of my dish issupposed to be the gyro and it has lost any sense of pride. It tasted like it's been sitting there for days. It was stale withno flavor at all. I used to love their gyros. The wild rice has experienced a similar declined. It tasted like it was made atleast a day before with no real flavor either. That's pretty much sums up my overall experience here in the last 6 months. Theygave me quantity. A lot of gyro slices, but I only ate 2 because they were so bad. A lady right after me ordered the chickenspecial plate. I saw the cook take a piece of already cooked chicken that looked like it could have been from the day before andjust heated it on the grill. So disappointing when it would take a few minutes to sauté chicken and make it fresh. This placeused to have some amazing Kafta but last time I tried it, the kafta was so bland. I hate the flavor of the food and thefreshness has left this place. Hopefully they can turn it around. The burgers are still pretty good because they actually cookthe burgers when ordered. Avoid any plates because chances are it will be pre-made and reheated. 3.2 10"

"I give four stars for the food and one star for the service, hence the 2-star result. It was a beautiful spring Sunday and while driving past the Main Line I decided to stop in, I had my mind set on a turkey club. After a bit of a wait I was seated at the booth closest to the cash register. I ordered the grilled chicken avocado club and settled in, getting ready to enjoy my lunch. And then it began...For the next 30 minutes the staff did nothing but complain to each other while seated or standing around in the entry area. They talked about one of the cooks who could not get food out fast enough and how some of the servers had to discount meals due to the slow service. They complained about how busy Easter was (aren't you glad for the business? . They crabbed about some of their coworkers not putting in enough effort or wanting to rotate stations rather than stay where they were assigned. Someone complained about customers who came in later one evening and when they were told that the diner was closed the customer said that they mistakenly thought that the place was open an hour longer than stated. In fact, the pre-Covid hours are still on the door and so I'm assuming that's what the customer believed to be the hours. While I was there a large party was apparently seated in the rear section with a numbers of kids. The server responsible for that area complained about the fact that the kids were messing up the other tables and now she'd have to reset about ten tables. Granted, the adults in the party should have taken control of the situation and I'd probably gripe about it as well but none of this should have been happening within earshot of other paying customers. There was incessant chatter the entire time. This is a dining area where paying customers are seated, it's not their breakroom. When my server finally came around to ask how everything was I told her that the food was excellent but that I couldn't enjoy it while having to listen to the constant complaining by staff. She halfheartedly apologized and then walked away. The woman stationed at the register, Kathleen, acknowledged the problem and was very apologetic and offered to take 10% off of my bill. She also offered a complimentary dessert from another business but since I'm diabetic I couldn't accept. All in all, it's not really a place that will draw me back."
