"My friend enjoyed a cold and delicious beer, while my wife found her pineapple margarita just average, as it didn’t have enough pineapple flavor. My top-shelf Long Island iced tea, on the other hand, tasted more like bottom-shelf quality—overly diluted and too full.
Our server was a young woman named Lilia, who was very attentive and detail-oriented. She had a bright smile and a pleasant demeanor, making sure we were well taken care of. However, my only suggestion is that while she checked in on our food, she didn’t ask if our drinks were satisfactory.
The biggest issue, though, was that our table was extremely sticky. When I brought this up to a waitress, she explained that it was due to the cleaner they used for sanitizing tables in accordance with Covid guidelines, which unfortunately reacted with the table’s finish. As a woodworker, I understand the challenge, but I believe they should have resolved the problem as soon as it was noticed, even if it meant temporarily closing off sections to refinish the tables. It was so sticky that it was pulling at my clothing and actually left a mark on my forearm.
Would I return to this restaurant? Yes, but I would definitely request a tablecloth unless the sticky table situation has been addressed."
