"Ordinary in disguise. My wife and I have been to 2 of the different dressler locations and have not been impressed with either. Sure, the branding is great. The atmosphere isn’t bad. But the food is just far too ordinary. We met in-laws for birthday dinner at the birkdale location. Super nice FOH, waitress was fantastic and attentive. Started with the charcuterie board for the table and Parmesan risotto for our 2.5 year old and ordered wines- which the wine list wasn’t bad either. Risotto was made for a child, even though we confirmed it was made like it typically was. Woefully under-seasoned, slightly crunchy and dry. Not a good risotto at all but hey, my toddler ate it. Charcuterie board was home chef level- basic at best. Maybe 5 saltines on the side of some brown mustard and 3 salamis with cheese chunks. Would not recommend. I ordered the NY strip and wife ordered the Mahi dishes. Had to send back the NY strip as it was charred and acrid even if the center was pink, signs of a grill that is far too hot and a kitchen that rushes. It was unpalatable and I ordered it medium-rare. Opted for the crab cakes instead which were actually fantastic! Potatoes on the side for both were chewy and lacked depth of flavor, average at best. Didn’t have dessert as we had spent enough without a real return on value. Won’t be returning unless it’s for beers and crab cakes at the bar. Food: 2.5/5 Drink: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 3.5/5"

"I’ve been wanting to try this place! The only place that has crispy rice apparently. I guess it’s not a thing here. It was super busy. Definitely a popular spot. Since I came by myself it wasn’t too long of a wait. I ended up seated at the sushi bar, which IMO is the best seat. You get to watch them make the sushi. I ordered the crispy rice of course. It was good but maybe overhyped a bit? Or wasn’t done right. Nothing spectacular. It was a little sticky/chewy. Never had it to compare. The consistency is different. I think it needed to be a little more crispy. But still very good! Love the atmosphere. Came back with my bf we started with the duck spring rolls. They were okay. Not my favorite. They have a weird after taste I thought. For my meal I got sesame chicken. They do things a little different. Usually it’s on the sweeter side but this was more savory had a little spice. Pricier than other places but overall the food vibes were good. Service has been great each time."

"When I step into this restaurant, I immediately feel calm and happy because of the beautiful decor and overall ambience and the knowledge that I'm going to enjoy some wonderfully tasty food. There is a page on the menu for vegetarian/vegan offerings, and some of the vegetarian dishes can even be made vegan. The staff is very knowledgable and will point out which dishes are vegan. The restaurant is family run and you can tell that the family has a commitment to excellence which is reflected by Sangam's trip advisor certificates for the last three years as well as other awards they have received. This restaurant offers a very popular lunch time buffet at a very affordable price. As a vegan, I can find lots of amazing food to fill my plate. The bread on the buffet, naan, is vegetarian but not vegan. If you ask however, they will prepare you roti instead. I have been coming to this restaurant since it first opened. It has become so popular that the owners have had to add on a whole other separate indoor dining area in addition to its outdoor seating. For the first visit, I recommend the lunch buffet since you can try out different options. Updated from previous review on Thursday December 17, 2015"

"would recommend. We can't wait to go back. Every single thing from the appetizers (crab spinach dip and the can't-miss Brussels sprouts) to the homemade desserts was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Our entrees (pork rib chop and pan-seared salmon) came out PIPING hot. Cocktails were very well made. Our waitress Melanie was friendly and just the right amount attentive. Very impressed from start to finish."
