"Worst consistent service of any Panera in NJ. I have been to this drive through many times and I can honestly say they are easily the slowest as in you have to wait in your car in line sometimes like 15 minutes before getting your food. There’s always items missing in my order or they get the sizes wrong. Today I made the mistake of not checking my order as soon as they handed it to me and when I got home I noticed there was no chicken in one of the salads and the other was missing the dressing which is what ties this salad together. I tried to call to maybe have someone deliver the missing items considering I paid for them and of course nobody answers the phone and it’s so frustrating. Panera the chain is not bad but this specific location is garbage. Avoid frustration and go somewhere else."

"This is one of our favorite places to eat. His clean food and good food. We, me and my family have been coming here regularly for years. The manager, Pablo, loves us in the name. My children love the food, the customer service is great. You have a reward program in which we get free food. I can order online and the food there is waiting for us. It is our way to eat and much has to do with the managers Pablo and Kate. Once, my wife forgot to order me my regular drink, and Kate even remembers it. Another time, Pablo brought extra cookie to the table for my children. This kind of stuff just doesn't happen in other places. I think we had over 200 meals in this Panera’s and not that every time was perfect, people make mistakes, but most were and we love it here."

"Panera Essen consistently provides excellent service and great value, as we all know. However, what sets this particular location apart is the friendly staff and enjoyable atmosphere. I'm in town for business, and this is my third visit to this Panera. I wish I could recall the name of the woman who took my order, as I would love to recognize her personally. She is a real asset to the company. If any manager at this Panera happens to read this, please let her know that she worked last night and tonight. She went out of her way to help me locate my Panera Card using my phone number and did her best to assist. Although we couldn't find my card, we ended up sharing a lot of laughs. She truly adds a special touch to the experience!"

"Don't work here if you're neurodivergent. They'll only hire you to keep their 7% disability quota to gain good boy points so that they look good in the public eye. They'll only schedule you one day a week to work. That one day will only be 3 or 4 hours so that you're not entitled to a break. Management is terrible but on the upside, coworkers are relatively nice. Not sure if it's just a facade they put on, or if that's the way other coworkers generally are. Forgot to mention the couple of times I've seen employees use bread that they've dropped on the floor"

"if they like metal in their eating and cold coffee, this is the place to not mention the incredibly dirty escaping what you might ask more. I had a steak sandwich that at the price I could have had an evening meal in a decent restaurant. in all reality they can go into a beautiful restaurant have a much more beautiful culinary experience and get a real meal for the price they pay at panera and have a mcdonald’s dining room experience."

"I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the poor management and lack of attention to detail. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered two breakfast sandwiches with sausage, egg, and cheese for takeout, but when I got home, one of them was missing the sausage. I thought it was just an oversight on a busy morning. Today, I decided to give them another chance and placed the same order again. I spoke with Jen, the short manager with glasses, at the register and informed her about the mistake from my last visit, asking her to ensure that the staff was careful this time. I also shared my concerns with the kitchen staff while I waited. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that once again, one sandwich was missing its sausage. To make things worse, my wife prefers her sandwich on brioche, while I enjoy mine on an everything bagel. They frequently overlook the sausage on the brioche sandwich. This leads me to wonder whether Jen and her team are intentionally neglecting their duties or if they simply lack competence. The only reason I gave them even one star is because I couldn't post this review without selecting at least one. If only Google offered a choice between gold stars and black holes!"

"I ordered the Chicken Chipotle Melt along with their *new* Butternut Squash Soup, and as always, I was not disappointed. A suggestion for Panera: it might benefit from a bit more onion powder to balance out the sweetness of the soup. Also, it would be great if the chefs could spread the chipotle sauce evenly on the sandwich. They ended up plopping a blob in the middle, which reminded me of Taco Bell! But honestly, I’m not complaining because it was delicious as always. And I highly recommend their Mango Yuzu Drink—it's fantastic!"

"Panera promotes a $1 delivery fee, but they actually add an extra $2 charge, making the total $3. While I understand that the low introductory rate is meant to attract customers, I was really frustrated by the additional convenience fee for tech maintenance and innovation. Considering you can't even order a drink or use your Sip Club benefits through this online system, the whole experience was disappointing. I'm seriously considering canceling my subscription, as I ended up hungry at lunchtime, hoping to order from Panera."

"The food is hot and fast. We ordered inside with the kiosk and it took a bit as they have as many options with pictures. The app was easy to navigate. We asked that the Scoone be heated. We also asked for NO-Bacon on the breakfast sandwich.... nope (of course there was bacon on it)! That was good because the restaurant was in perfect condition and the Danes were very well displayed. The 3 comes with the confusion and demeanor of the employee behind the counter. She was somehow not sure what we had ordered and then assumed that we were the ones that were confused by their persistent questions. After she was spoken as a child, she tried to warm us by asking about the RV we drove and where we are from. Understand the efforts, but a little too much and a little too late! By the way, the **** is extremely dry... look at the picture."

"I've had two disappointing experiences at the Kent Panera this past week. I usually go to the one in Federal Way, and it's always been great. On April 22, 2022, I ordered a Strawberry Poppyseed fruit salad, but it arrived without any poppy seed dressing—or any dressing at all. Today, I ordered a Caesar chicken salad, and it came with Greek Goddess dressing instead. There was no shaved cheese, just chicken, romaine lettuce, and a few croutons. The first time I spoke with the manager, who said there was nothing he could do because I ordered through DoorDash. It would be helpful if they trained their salad prep staff and the person responsible for confirming the orders! I won't be returning to this Panera again!"

"Panera Bread is a very reliable place to get very good food and excellent drinks. I really don 't use the the bakery service much anymore, though I used to like to get there bagels and baguettes, which have always been good. Every so often I will bring some bagels into work. I do wish that Google listed an additional rating category beyond food, service, and atmosphere. Namely, value. My son and I got lunch and with tip it was $55. He got The Spicy Take Chicken Sandwich and I got the Green Goddess Cobb salad. He got a mango smoothie. I got one of their sugar-free charged drinks (with caffeine). I am torn, because the salads are always excellent. They really are clean , meaning there is no old or wilted lettuce like you often find in salads many places. You don 't need to look through your salad to try to pick out the unfresh gunk. That is certainly worth a lot. I 'm not absolutely sure it is worth $20, but I do have some additional add-ins. Anyway, we go here because they are absolutely reliable, and because we can put in an online order using their app and by the time I drive from my house to the restaurant it is ready for me to grab off the shelf. We rarely stay in the restaurant to eat. Anyway, Panera is right near some kind of economic tipping point where their higher prices are just barely justified by the quality of their food. I 'm sure that is exactly where they want to be."

"I typically don't write reviews, but after being disappointed for the 5th time in a row, I feel compelled to share my experience. The wait at the drive-thru in the morning is always too long, and my order has been incorrect the last 5 times. I've received cold food instead of hot, and my latte, which I asked for iced, was made hot and then poured over ice, ending up with a watered-down mess. I know that customer service jobs can be tough, and I always try to be understanding, but the service at this restaurant in Kingwood has been consistently disappointing, especially considering the cost."

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The place is very clean and has a lovely atmosphere, with comfortable booths and tables, as well as a cozy lounge area with a fireplace. It was my first visit yesterday, and I really enjoyed it. I tried the "Pick 2" option and chose the chicken Cobb salad and the spicy Thai chicken, both of which were delicious. They also give you a choice of bread, chips, or an apple with your meal. I appreciate that all their ingredients are organic and wholesome! I left feeling satisfied and good about my meal. I will definitely return!"

"While I waited, I used the restroom, but to my dismay, there was no toilet paper—definitely not ideal! When I returned to collect my order, I almost forgot about the gift card since it hadn’t been handed to me. I had to remind them about it. I then realized that my free cookie was missing from the bag. They informed me that the cookies were pre-packaged in front of the register, so they quickly grabbed one and added it to my order. After leaving the restaurant, I discovered that I had been charged $3 for the cookie, which prompted me to return for a refund. Once I got home and finally tried my chocolate chip cookie, I was disappointed again: it wasn’t chocolate chip at all, but oatmeal raisin with berries, and it was stale. Definitely not what I expected!"

"I ordered a classic meal: tomato soup and half a grilled cheese sandwich (part of the Sandwich and Soup/Mac combo). The soup was fantastic—I’ve always loved Panera’s tomato soup. Unfortunately, the grilled cheese was just "okay." While it tasted decent, I wasn't convinced it was actually "grilled." There were no marks on the bread to indicate grilling, and the cheese ended up all over the wrapper, similar to what happens when I microwave a sandwich at home. I'm not sure how they prepared it, but their idea of grilling is quite different from mine. On a bright note, the delivery was excellent; the driver was polite, and my order was complete and exactly as I requested."

"I just had my first experience at Panera, and I must say, I’m officially a fan! I ordered the Avocado Club sandwich, and it was absolutely fantastic—each bite was bursting with flavor! But the highlight of the meal was definitely the cinnamon roll paired with their cold brew on tap. It was a match made in heaven! "It's 2023 and this place has still not figured out mobile ordering or takeout. Orders are consistently 10-15 minutes late. This is partly due to staff, but also due to the app/website giving incorrect estimates on prep time. EVERYTIME you order it states your order will be ready within 10 minutes. Day/night, busy/slow doesn't matter, it's always 10 minutes. So you order and one of two things happen. One, you show up at the directed time, it is late, and you sit and wait with the other miserable people who are waiting for their food that was supposed to already be done. Or two, you try to plan for the delay and show up 10 minutes late, which are invariably the days where everything is running on time and now you have cold soup.The problem I have laid out above has existed since the pandemic, so almost 4 years and they still haven't gotten this right. But recently it's gotten worse.Now the orders are kept behind the counter, preventing you from getting your order when it is in fact ready. You now have to wait in line with other customers looking to order, THUS DEFEATING THE PURPOSE OF ORDERING AHEAD IN THE FIRST PLACE!It's unfortunate that they need to protect these orders from thieves, but given the circumstances, you expect staff to be aware of the situation and proactively ask people if they are waiting to pick up an order, but alas that is not the case. Today while standing alone in front of the register, multiple employees passed me, multiple times without so much as eye contact. Were they busy doing other things? One woman, I watched walk past me to the pastries, look at them, walk past me again to the sandwich area, watched then being made for a minute, then left, walked past me again, to the back room, after which she quickly returned and completed the entire circuit again two more times, before another employee started walking past and I was able to get their attention and my order.I can't think of any other restaurant that is this disorganized and failing at the logistics of food service as poorly as this one particular Panera.*written from my phone, please forgive typos and misspellings."
