"As for the food, I would have gladly paid $6.00 for a cup of lukewarm chicken and noodles that came with watery broth and only a few small pieces of chicken. A pack of crackers would have really helped. Thankfully, I went home and used the microwave to heat it up. Honestly, they won't miss me as a customer, and they'll probably never realize I'm not coming back. I might give them one more chance, but if I do, I’ll definitely voice my concerns about the unexpected charges. I genuinely support small local businesses when they offer good value. "Cool Pickle in Paradise! It was the name that captured my attention as I scrolled through my phone searching for a new dining experience. My family visited the restaurant last evening. As we approached the restaurant, we met a few patrons leaving. We asked them about the restaurant and their experience and they informed us they loved it. The atmosphere is very comfortable. There is a bar and dining area. The menu is filled with a fine variety of choices, ranging from sandwiches to full entrées. Our appetizers were two orders of mozzarella sticks. Those were excellent however there are only 3 to an order. At 6.95 a plate, that was a bit pricey. The sticks are larger than normal, so that helped, but I wish it would have been 4 instead. My oldest son tried the steak and cheese sandwich (Philly style) while my younger son joined my wife and me for the Haddock special. A generous portion of breaded fish with fries and coleslaw. All the entrées were excellent. Nicely sized portions. Just right. No leftovers. Our waitress was amazing. Extremely attentive and helpful. She refilled drinks and constantly checked on us. The cost of our meal was quite comparable to the other restaurants in the area. And we felt the cost of our meal was fair. It is advertised that live music often occurs, but we did not witness such. We had an amazing dining experience. We will return. Thanks very much to the owners and staff of the Cool Pickle. Continued success for them. "The server declined to accommodate these specials, stating that they are only available during actual Eagles games and not throughout the entire day. The service was exceptionally slow, and the server failed to inquire about our desire for additional drinks. We had to specifically ask for silverware and ended up having to retrieve our own napkins and malt vinegar since our server was absent. Throughout our dining experience, our server neglected to check on us and even made an error with one of our orders, resulting in additional costs."

"I read the other reviews and found the need to write an accurate one. If you want real, authentic Mexican food in NWI, this is the place. The portions are very generous and the food great. There is a reason why it is always packed. We have had just about everything on the menu and have enjoyed almost everything. The enchiladas suizas are awesome, as are the Texas Nachos. Their white cheese sauce is amazing. The shrimp tacos are great too. The margaritas are a little hit or miss, but the pina colada margarita is to die for. The review that talked about going to Jalapenos for real Mexican is laughable, that place is overrated, overpriced and completely Americanized Mexican food. It isn't terrible, but not authentic. Also, the review that talked about the manager trying to rip them off by adding an extra tip seems doubtful. The place is family owned and the manager is always there and very accommodating. I highly recommend it."

"I would absolutely stop here! Local, traveling through the area, doesn’t matter! The vibes were immaculate, food was phenomenal and the beers were cold and delicious. We are not locals and were welcomed with smiles from the staff and I didn’t feel eyes on me so I don’t think the locals minded us much. Parking: Tough spot being on a corner but drive the speed limit and you’ll find a spot! Kid-friendliness: I would take my kid here if I had one. I don’t, so I can’t say you would.
