Fresh delicious!! Our server JAY needs a raise because he's the best service in the state of Virginia. We love this place and keep coming back every weekend. Ahi tacos ? Taphouse burger ? Had a long day of work and didn't get done until 7. Checked the website and it says 3-10 open. Got there at 8:45 to be told the kitchen is closed. I get the Northern Neck but come on guys. If you are trying to be a decent place here, at least stay open when you say your open. If we would have known, we could have saved the trip and eaten elsewhere. View menu

The BEST New Years Eve filet ever. Year after year. My wife and I frequent the Ole Rapp Tapp house multiple times a week. They have the best food in 3 counties. The staff is always great. Thanks for being apart of the NNK. Just had our 26th wedding Anniversary dinner there. It was great. The folks her make you feel like family. Thanks for another awesome night.

We have been four or five times. Food has been consistently good. Portions are not huge, more like a true serving. Servers have been pleasant and polite. The only negative is the time waiting for drinks, food and refills/reorder of drinks. Perhaps they need more help in the kitchen and are unable to fill those jobs. I'm sure we will return but we won't go really hungry because we will get that way while there.

The Rapp had a good variety of beer on tap and i don't mean 10 IPAs of varying hopiness! The place was pretty packed so we sat at the bar in probably the most comfy bar seats i have ever sat in. I ordered the gyro and my wife ordered the ahi tuna taco. The gyro was ok but the pita was stale and falling apart. But the ahi tuna tacos were fantastic. The tuna was very fresh and a nice touch were the crushed wasabi peas on top. I'll definitely try them again! View menu

The food was absolutely delicious! The bartender, Alex turned our mood around. At first, the customer service was bad. No acknowledgement that we were even there for 5 minutes. Then we had about a 35 minute wait. But, the bar kept us happy. Once seated our waitress was personable. She admitted to forgetting somethings, but quickly made it right. During our 8/20/22 visit, the beer and food were very good, and the wait staff were helpful. Apparently they were very short on kitchen help and that made it a long wait for the food given the restaurant was crowded. They were also out of some beers and the kitchen was missing some ingredients because my dish had to be revised very successfully, I might add. The manager and our waiter came by our table multiple times to apologize for the delay and make sure we were happy
