"My fiancé and I recently went to Brown Chicken Brown Cow for the first time. It 's a place we 've been wanting to try for years. The restaurant isn 't on the main street, which is why we tend to forget about it, but this time around, we prioritized getting lunch there. Brown Chicken Brown Cow is a sit-down fast food joint where you pay at the counter and wait for the food to be served to your table. Overall service was cool. Staff was friendly, and the food came out in a timely manner. I found that the online menu slightly differed from the menu at the restaurant. I perused through the menu prior to coming, and I was set on ordering the trip tip salad with horseradish dressing. It wasn 't offered on the in-store menu. But neither was the tri tip sliders item that was on the online menu, which would 've been my second choice. I ended up getting the side wedge with bacon on the side. It was a pretty standard wedge made with half a head of lettuce, diced tomatoes, and handfuls of gorgonzola blue cheese. I appreciated that the salad had a ton of cheese, but it would 've been better if the cheese was crumbled across the salad. The cheese basically came out clumped together like meatballs. I had a couple of bites of my fiancé 's cheeseburger. Solid no frills burger. Burger patty was well done (didn 't mind this since the patty was thin) and flavorful. We ordered Cajun sweet potato fries to share. The fries were nicely fried. The Cajun seasoning was more of a light dusting rather than full coverage. The fries could 've used a little bit more salt."

"I grew up in cincy and tried all kinds of cincy style chili. the most famous places are gold star and skyline chili, there are also blue ash chili. until I tried dixie chili, blue ash was my favorite chili location. Now I can't see that I eat something other than dixie! it is different from the other cincy style chili, to the best way possible! it is not overwhelming in season. some chili are in my opinion too sweet and sharp. dixie makes a good work to balance all aromatic aromes. I believe the reason why dixie chili is the best because they are one of the original recipes for cincy style chili; this place has one of the oldest cincy chili recipes. I'm a little bit of a stratified buff to this thema. Anyway, I would highly recommend diving the 4-way or the chili man! both were really the best cincy chili I ever tasted! I just can't stop riding this place! I have eaten three times in the last two days. that should tell them it's really good to eat. every time I came in, the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. the place is super clean, the music was on an acceptable level every time I went to eat. the one part is that there is only a bathroom stall for the women toilet, but at least there was no huge line to use it. in hours nobody else will have a good choice. it will be a bit crowded to dinner time. I would recommend to everyone to try this place at least once."

"Review from a non local! Our dishes were delicious but wow this place is THE hole in the wall of all hole in the walls.Ordered the 5 piece shrimp cocktail, 10 piece Buffalo seasoned shrimp, gator tail dinner, beer battered fish fry, 8 piece fried shrimp meal.Total before gratuity was $88.xxOrdering food was awkward. Walk into Small building that seats 10 and wait for cashier to make eye contact to take order.Cashier had no idea if food had egg,Milk or butter.I was disappointed that they couldn’t answer my question but I took my chances. We sat outside and all seating was messy and unkept. Every table had ash trays full and soiled tables. We cleaned our own table. They were so busy they could only do the minimum of taking trays away.We received our food hot and fresh within 30 min.Everything tasted really good.Service was satisfactory. Nothing extraordinary. When it came to paying and tipping, it was awkward and the cashier couldn’t figure the gratuity part. We had to give cash instead.Overall, it was delicious. And the environment made for a unique time.Sitting outside was a very loud dining time since the restaurant is right off the main road.I recommend, as it was good food. My husband really liked it. If one doesn’t care for the wait for seating or messy tables, it would be a low key place to get tasty seafood. The locals do love Tarks."

"Stopped in because we were thirsty and had a few minutes before our bus came. I ordered two drinks and three coneys to go. I had to repeat myself three times to the girl taking my order because for whatever reason it was too difficult to understand two coneys with mustard and one with mustard and onion. We got our food and drinks and went to wait for the bus. I checked the receipt and the two coneys were rung separate from the other one. They were packaged that way too, so I figured they got the order right. I opened the one coney and ate it and it was the one with onions. My daughter proceeded to take a bite out of what was supposed to be a coney with just mustard. Nope it had onions too. Then a bite out of the other one with mustard. Nope onions on that one as well. At this point I called the store which was two blocks from our bus stop. I believe I spoke with the person that made the coneys incorrectly. She stated we would have to bring the coneys back to get a credit. She said she remembered me (yeah we just left the store). Okay, so if you know you made our food incorrectly why do we need to come back? (I have back issues, so no). My bus was a block away and I wasn't waiting another hour in the heat with my asthmatic daughter so you can fix the food that not only one employee messed up, but two of you. Plus, the coneys were really greasy and soggy and falling apart. Not like other food I have had from there on past visits. I don't recommend this location and won't eat there anymore after this. I've never been treated rudely at this location in the past but there were a bunch of teenage kids working there today when we stopped in. Totally unprofessional and a waste of my money since the food went into the trash. Thanks guys. ????"
