"With all of the good reviews by others, i had to see if this was going to be my go-to pizza place. This is a walk-up counter order place... again. The menu is huge, and maybe that is the reason their food is unremarkable. The people behind the counter were nice enough, gave me the history of how Northshore and Viccino 's are the same owners with the same recipes except for one menu item. They took my order, provided a well-estimated expected time it would be done, and handed me my food. Nice folks. The food is nothing special, and the one item I expected to be the wow component (focaccia bread with provolone) was not only not a focaccia, but was tasteless even with the provolone. I ordered it with marinara and that was also just fine . The pizza was better but again, unremarkable. I ordered the sausage and pepperoni thin crust and I made sure to eat it in my car as soon as I got it. Sometimes delivery can mess up the taste. The sausage was the proper Italian blend and the pepperoni were nice and crispy on the edges. The pizza sauce was no better than I had on a frozen pizza and the crust had no heart. It is typical for a fast pizza place. I also realize my taste and everyone else are not the same. I love a coal or brick oven pizza for thinner crusts. But if you are used to other nationwide pizza chains, then this would do you well. It is just not to my liking. Lastly, the price seems right. Their lunch special looks like a great deal and if you work or live near it, it would be worth it...even after they just raised their prices."
