"Let me start this review by saying this is an aesthetically pleasing restaurant with a nice looking menu. But after the terrible dining experience we had recently, I would not recommend this establishment to my dogs or worst enemies. The server was polite however we sat for a full hour as the server brought one water at a time for a party of 11. And we had to ask what other drinks they had to offer.Unprofessional Management not willing to take accountability for their own staffs lack of knowledge not being on the same page. Owner was not accommodating and not willing to hear what we were even asking for. He was very arrogant and not willing to listen to our request and ou bill was over 500 dollars.FoodWe asked for salad to be prepared at the beginning of our service which was 3pm. We literally didn't get that for 1 hour after we had requested It. Management said that bread was working for the table again at 3pm and we had to ask for bread 5 times before the server brought it to our table. We still did not receive the bread until after our soup and salad had already been eaten.Food took over an hour to come out.By the time the food came, we had to get boxes to take home due to the 2 hrs we had already been there. We were ready to leave. All food did not come out at the same time and many of us ordered the same thing with the limited menu options for the day. The birthday girl didn't get her food until 35 minutes after everyone else because the server forgot to put her order in.After reading previous reviews it seems that this place has not fixed many of their issues. The wait time of food, slow service and unprofessional Management."

"Despite my frustrations, I was eager to try their food, especially the J Chicken General Tso, which looks amazing on Instagram. I went inside to place my order and waited another 10 minutes before anyone took it. The atmosphere was chaotic, with many people waiting for their orders and others trying to place theirs. Eventually, I placed my order but had to wait an additional 15 minutes to receive it. When I finally got my three platters, I checked them over. One of them was the J Chicken, a personal favorite. To my disappointment, there was no J sauce on the chicken or the rice and peas. I asked the young lady at the counter for some J sauce to be added. She grabbed the bottle but it only had a few drops left. She attempted to close the lid on my platter, which left me bewildered. I couldn't believe she wasn't going to add more sauce! After filling the bottle, she returned to the counter; I opened my lid, expecting her to pour sauce over everything. Instead, she pulled out a small ramekin and squirted some sauce into it. I was stunned—having just purchased three large platters and not receiving enough sauce to cover my food was very frustrating. When I asked about getting more J sauce, I was told I would have to pay extra for it. I couldn’t understand why I'd need to pay for extra sauce when there hadn’t been any to begin with. I've never encountered a Jamaican restaurant that served their food without J sauce; it's an essential part of the meal. To avoid further frustration, I took my three large platters and left. On a positive note, the food was quite good. However, if you're planning to visit this place, I recommend placing your order well in advance, as some dishes are made to order and can take 35-50 minutes. Although I really wanted to try the J Chicken General Tso, I don’t think I’ll be returning, which is disappointing. In conclusion, the food was good, but the customer service really detracted from the experience. The following dishes were ordered: 1. J Chicken, Greens, Yams 2. Curry Chicken, Cabbage, Rice and Peas 3. Stewed Chicken, Greens, Yams."

"I'm sorry, but I will not recommend this place to anyone. The only thing I really enjoyed was the guest Jazz performers. We paid $25 to reserve for the Jazz performers. The menu looked nice. It was very pricey, though. For the quality of the food.... those prices should have been more humble. We ordered a chicken tender and a fried shrimp appetizers. We were unimpressed. We ordered the catfish platter entree and the catfish and shrimp platter entree.. catfish platter was $20, and the catfish and shrimp platter was a whopping $28. I expected more for what we got and/or better quality and taste. When I tell you, that was the worst seafood platter I ever had in my life. And I'm from New Orleans, so I know good and flavorful food. The service was okay. Don't go in expecting top-tier service like you would get at The Warwick. We spent over $80 on the overpriced food, and it was just 2 of us. On top of that, they added an automatic 20% gratuity.... which wasn't deserved. Also, note that they charge $4 for a bottle of Ozarka spring water..16.9 Oz. Smh. So if you do decide to try this place out. Eat somewhere else first and just go to enjoy the show. They also need to work on being welcoming and giving better customer service. We are still in disbelief in how disappointing this place was. I'm sharing a pic of my $28 catfish and shrimp platter. My sister takes pics of her food, for content, everywhere we go..... not this time. I decided to take a pic to post a review."
