Reviews of this place vary widely on other restaurant sites, ranging from "I can’t give it enough stars" to "abominable." As we all know, tastes differ, but I fall into the first category—I would eat here at the drop of a hat!
Yes, the decor is definitely quirky and looks like it was thrown together by Billy Bo Bob Hatfield and his new Korean mail-order bride. However, to me, that just adds to its charm. There's also a large screen TV that usually plays the most interesting Korean dramas, often revolving around themes of honor, war, intrigue, and betrayal.
As for the food, I rate it as excellent compared to other Korean restaurants I've visited. The kimchi served with each meal is delicious, fresh, and varied, and they’re happy to bring you more if you need it. If that’s not enough, try the Na Mool. I particularly love the Kimchi Jun, their pickled cabbage pancake; we almost always order one.
I’ve sampled their bibimbap, japchae, and bulgogi, all of which were filling, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The service is attentive; the restaurant seems to be run by just a couple of people, but the lady who welcomed us, served us, and handled the bill was always checking to see if we needed anything and was genuinely glad to see us return.
The location is a bit off the beaten path, but in my opinion, it’s well worth the trip!"
