"My wife, who has lived in Harrisonburg for about eight years, introduced me to this restaurant—just one more reason I love her! Reviews of this place vary widely on other restaurant sites, ranging from "I can’t give it enough stars" to "abominable." As we all know, tastes differ, but I fall into the first category—I would eat here at the drop of a hat! Yes, the decor is definitely quirky and looks like it was thrown together by Billy Bo Bob Hatfield and his new Korean mail-order bride. However, to me, that just adds to its charm. There's also a large screen TV that usually plays the most interesting Korean dramas, often revolving around themes of honor, war, intrigue, and betrayal. As for the food, I rate it as excellent compared to other Korean restaurants I've visited. The kimchi served with each meal is delicious, fresh, and varied, and they’re happy to bring you more if you need it. If that’s not enough, try the Na Mool. I particularly love the Kimchi Jun, their pickled cabbage pancake; we almost always order one. I’ve sampled their bibimbap, japchae, and bulgogi, all of which were filling, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The service is attentive; the restaurant seems to be run by just a couple of people, but the lady who welcomed us, served us, and handled the bill was always checking to see if we needed anything and was genuinely glad to see us return. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but in my opinion, it’s well worth the trip!"

"Hands down the best authentic South Korean and Japanese food I have ever tasted! Food: My friends and I shared the galbi (beef short rib) and it was so juicy and flavorful, it came on a hot plate and was sizzling legit music to my ears. I got the tofu soup amazing. The flavors danced on my taste buds, the spice level was on point (I love spicy) i started sweating and loved every moment of it. The tofu was soft and there were bits of tender pork belly and shrimp which just complimented the soup so well. It really hit the spot since today was cold and rainy. We also got the soy bean paste soup and the udon soup phenomenal flavors. The soy bean soup tasted like home, it was very nostalgic and we loved every bit of it. The udon was just as good, noodles were thick and the chew was absolute (if you’ve had udon then you know what i mean, if you haven’t then it’s worth the try), it was just a sensation of flavor! Kind of like that ratatouille scene lol. Service: Our server was the sweetest lady we could ever meet. She was kind and soft spoken and extremely polite. She took care of us period. It seemed like she was the only server in the restaurant so of course please extend some grace to this hard working young woman, she is trying her best. We’re visiting from Los Angeles and i KNOW if they moved to KTOWN they would totally thrive! A true hidden gem if you are looking for authentic South Korean or Japanese dishes. If you’re ever in Boise Idaho, this place is definitely worth your while."
