"The price of $45 for this brunch was disappointing. It wasn't worth it. The eggs seemed to have been in the tray for too long, because they were hard-throwed. The gumbo was not seasoned and looked like broth soup. Chicken cabobs were hard as well as the Parmesan . The fruit was simple. The drinks were irrigated from the bar. The tiny baby shrimps in the grains were sad. The greens had no taste at all. I've been there for dinner and hyped this place up to my friends and was disappointed. Why would you only force this buffet and have no regular menu available. $75 was my sum for a basic buffet and watered alcoholic drinks. Very disappointed. It was blazing."

"This was my first time stepping into a real meat market (because they tend to intimidate me), and it turned out to be a fantastic experience! Caleb was incredibly helpful and took the time to explain all the different types of steaks and cuts. He was friendly and made me feel completely at ease, even when I asked basic questions. He also shared some great cooking tips that I used, resulting in an amazing steak dinner. We’ve definitely found our new go-to butcher for all our steak needs. Thank you, Caleb!"

"I received an incorrect order today. My sides were left in an open bag on the counter, while they corrected the meat in my order. I called and spoke to the manager concerning the preparation of my fish. I explained that it was very mushy and not edible. The entire time I spoke she repeated, “I apologize that that happened”. Very condescending behavior!! She also stated that when fish is left too long it will sweat. The plate was handed to my son once it was prepared, so it didn’t have time to sweat. Excuses are unacceptable management responses and she needs training. I advised that I didn’t want a refund, but the restaurant had to do better. This is not Louisiana cooking! The gumbo has disgusting tasting sausage and the beans in the red beans and rice are deplorable. Needless to say, I trashed the food at a nearby Publix. Stay away from this place. It was a waste of money! Had her response been sincere, I would have only made a phone complaint."

"Let’s be honest: this isn't New Orleans. However, Baby Kay's does a great job of capturing some of that Cajun vibe. If you're craving Cajun cuisine (even if not everything on the menu strictly qualifies as Cajun), you won't be disappointed. Some menu highlights include a thick, slightly spicy gumbo, delicious po' boys, and a surprisingly delightful spinach salad. The bread pudding is also worth indulging in; while it may not be the best in town, it's quite good, as is the pecan pie. One of the standout features of Baby Kay's is the cozy, welcoming atmosphere, especially when a certain blues guitarist is performing. Dining at Baby Kay's while enjoying live blues guitar—just the right volume to enhance your experience without overwhelming your conversation—might just make you want to linger all evening."

"This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The dishes were seasoned to perfection—not too spicy, just right. My son and I visited for the first time last weekend, and we were thoroughly impressed. We've already made reservations for this weekend and plan to bring friends and family to share in the wonderful experience we had. It's quite busy on weekends, so be prepared to wait. They also have a full bar, so you can enjoy a cold drink and relax while you wait."
